OT: Art Briles to be fired by Baylor Administration

Why the interim label though? And there probably isn't a better possible hire for them right now then Jim Grobe. I respect the **** out of that guy.

Grobe is just a bridge until the seasons end,and then Baylor will go after an offensive minded coach dare I say Mike Leach!

The issue I have is how is Ken Starr still there as well as Briles son, who'll be the OC. I don't get it.

LOL at Baylor keeping any of Briles's assistants like they had no idea what was going on.

Baylor is trying to keep the train rolling until the short attention span society moves on to the next story. Then, next year they'll hire an unknown small skinny Texas man named Bart Styles.
 
Grobe is the "interim" coach because they don't know where the program will stand in the coming years. The rest of the staff will get canned following this upcoming season.
 
Some of the smarter folks at Baylor realized that nothing they did was going to make anyone happy, they might as well keep whipping the critics' asses on Saturdays. They'll probably lose the fight but I don't blame them.

You should blame them. They deserve all the criticism they've received for their abominable handling of all those rape and sexual assault cases. To claim that they should thumb their noses at those validly criticizing them is exactly the type of garbage approach that leads to no one ever taking responsibility for their ****** actions.

Hahaha. So about them releasing all their recruits? Yeahhhhhh. I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if Grobe was told of their intent to bring Briles back in a year either so maybe the national media should reexamine those fawning little articles about him being the perfect moral compass to stabilize Waco.
