One Reason Why Chip Kelly Is A Great Fit At Miami

Before Chip Kelly's arrival Oregon was 5-6, 10-2, and 7-6.

The two years prior to his hiring as HC, he was the OC there. He gets there and they win 9 and 10 games, then he is named head coach and they win 10, 12, 12, 12.

Miami hasn't had 5 in a row double digit win seasons since the late 80's to early 90s (88-92). Let that sink in for a second.

Chip kelly has learned alot from being in the NFL as well. He will have that spread option unstoppable when he comes back to the college level.

And, OP, that 1st post is everything. It's what I was arguing when people were questioning his defense in the thread where I was pimping him. You don't need to question a facet of a HC's game when he posts records like that. You question offense or defense when a guy loses games. You question nothing when a guy kills everyone every week like Chip does.

And, lest anyone forgets, he was doing it in a state that produces no D1 talent. Here, all he'd have to do is be introduced as HC, and we'd be rolling in any recruits he wanted.

You wouldn't even call it recruiting anymore. He'd be selecting guys; he wouldn't be recruiting.

Jaromir, It's not your skepticism about the odds of Chip Kelly winding up at UM that makes me think that you have some relationship to Butch, it's your constant stumping for Butch (including trying to denigrate all other potential coaches as well as minimizing the odds that Chip will wind up at UM) that makes me think you have some relationship to Butch.

I'd encourage you to keep an open mind, but you are all in on Butch. Carry on!

Ha! No sh..! Can't imagine any SoFla HS coach steering away an athlete from Miami because of Chip Kelly.
 
The world isn't ready for the level of savagery he would unleash upon college ball. ****, half our ACC games would be default wins where the other team got scared to get off the bus and play.
