Have they taken projected starters from us?

Harvey, Brinson, Brashard, Key Smith, Rooster, Roberts, CJJ, Jakai Clark are set to start in 23, 24 or 25 for us?

JHH likely was but we filled that spot adequately with Barrow.

What up with you man ? These aren’t numbers there Kids adjusting to adulthood. I wonder if it’s not envy somewhere in there because all Ny Carr did was explore his options & was welcomed Back.
How do you know Ny Carr & for that matter Zaquan aren’t going to improve & see playing time?
It’s seems like your rooting for them to fail even though,one is a current member?

I really don’t believe that , cause we are all Passionate Fans & say things we look back in time with different perspectives.

I do not understand this logic. One team played in the ACCCG and made the playoffs. The other team lost to Iowa St in the Pop Tart Bowl. Are you saying we made it out better? I would have rather had the smu season, but I really don't know what our fans want these days.

I’m saying I don’t miss the former Canes they have and they would not have equated to more wins than we had last year. None were playing over anyone we had.

They had a good year and Rhett is one of those coordinators who has a niche as an HC. Brohm type to me, which is a compliment.

Still…he needs new friends and I look forward to beating them on Nov 1st.

Not saying they want what I’m saying if they don’t play much they’re already showed theyre going to transfer . They’re not going to wait to play

Guess I was right left , Carr will next portal if he dont see the field much . So far im 1 for 2 let’s see if I go 2 for 2 . Envy lol I just seen the Writing on the wall when they showed their hands . New era nil and way would you pay top dollars for a kid who want be ready for a few years

To be fair SMU schedule was as easy as it gets outside of Indiana
 
If ppl knew just how cut throat roster management has become on the fringes, I think the bashing of players who explore different opportunities would settle down. These coaches have no problem cutting players who do the right thing within the program just as much as they cut the head cases if it makes sense for the program. Definitely not just a Miami thing to show guys the door.

Roberts quality of play at DE was better than any of our '24 DE…And I'm a huge Bain fan. I said it at the time that I never understood went wrong with him and the CMC regime.

Brashard Smith was a stud last year, and although he wouldn't have been a 1300 yd back here, there was no reason he couldn't have been KR #1 with 70 carries and 30 receptions and a lot of explosive plays.

Harvey top to bottom had as good a year as Tyler Barron, probably better as he blocked a huge kick that led their undefeated ACC season alive. I'm cool with calling it a wash, the player with higher upside got drafted. .

K.Smith/Sam Brown = Wash, basically. Neither as good as Isaiah Horton but both were adequate.

JHH was good and showing signs while he was here…And had his best year at SMU. Yes it's a wash though, Barrow may even have been slightly better in '24. .

But to say none of these players would have been good or had the ability to start for us is just wrong and they proved that.
