Agree 100%. Anybody that believes the ACC will get ANY P2 games in a couple of seasons is dreaming. The move to 9-10 conference games is step one, followed by the "cross conference scheduling agreement" between the SEC / B10 .... no games left. Period. get ready for a scheduling agreement with the B12 & the AAC. The ACC is quickly headed to PAC 12 status. That is a load of horse****.
No kid says "yeah, I would love to play Power 2 competition, but I'm going to the ****** ACC because I will EVENTUALLY play P2 teams in December". That's just insane. 12 or 13 ****** games against the ACC and P5 teams, and then YAAAAY, one game against P2 in the playoffs? Do you know how stupid that sounds?
Plus, the P2 will soon be playing 9 or 10 conference games annually. So regular season games will be off the table.
Besides, all of this is moot, we will be in the Big 10 in 2 years.
Not if Wisky has anything to say about it.
touché.Remember when aTm left the Big 12 to get away from Texas?
Coaching ain’t an issue yet we’ve never won a ACC championship against “weaker competition.” Do the issues that plagued this program disappear with switching to the power two?
I know Adidas expires in 2 years..but the Grant of Rights doesn't expire until 2036...how do we avoid the 165 Million payout and get control over our tv rights? Our recruiting deficits disappear in a P2 conference when we are also rocking Nike.
Again, the primary issue of this thread is recruiting. Not "winning 11 games every year". I'm not saying that the second issue isn't important, but it will help us to FIRST address our current recruiting "weaknesses".
I'm a old white dude with no ***. Find some booty elsewhere.Actually, you might be able to right now. Have you met @fatnasty187?
3pm wild *** guess: If haulcy hasnt yet signed with lsu, haulcy's realizing that his 25 year old agent overplayed his hand, and is pondering a way to get miami's last offer back on the table.
Bro, you have a lot of catching up to do, respectfully.I know Adidas expires in 2 years..but the Grant of Rights doesn't expire until 2036...how do we avoid the 165 Million payout and get control over our tv rights?
Hey if we are out of the ACC in 2 years that would be great..the question is will the SEC or B10 come calling?Bro, you have a lot of catching up to do, respectfully.
No way any of us make it to 2030 let alone 2036 in the ACC.
I originally predicted 2026 but latest intel leans toward 2027 to be the year.
ACC anyway agreed to reduce the GOR and exit fee buyout significantly. to the point where it’s not even a financial decision really… it’s more just when do the B1G/SEC want to expandI know Adidas expires in 2 years..but the Grant of Rights doesn't expire until 2036...how do we avoid the 165 Million payout and get control over our tv rights?

The exit fee drops from around half a billion to eventually around 75 mill in 2029… I thinkBro, you have a lot of catching up to do, respectfully.

Before a game has been played? PLEASE elaborate, I’m begging you.

Now do this for every other top 25 team. You will find that the majority of them are in the exact same situation as us or worse. Can you elaborate on who is a “stud” at DT?
Is it Blay? The guy who played in the worst conference in America and while he was excellent there, didn’t exactly perform well against NC State and Arkansas, the only two P4 teams of note?
Is it Justin Scott? Who has played less than 110 snaps of collegiate football and didn’t do anything of note last season, yet we’re trusting him to be our godsend this year and play 400+ snaps?
Is it Moten? The guy that’s entering year 4 and had 1 sack and 18 tackles last season? Graded out with a 41.8 tackling score on PFF?
I mean put the pipe down dude.
Contrary to popular belief on here from the bully slurpers, it’s ok to admit we’re not #1 at every position in America. And DL is certainly a concerningly thin room that lacks talent and experience.
