Ok we can fire Gattis now.

Gattless & Poncho both gotta go.

- QB play regressed
- Run game is worse this year than it was last year, 0 rushing TD’s vs P5 opponents
- Passing game is the worst it’s been since the 1960’s
- Only have scored 8 total TD’s against P5 opponents

And we have no competitive fire or a schematic identity that we can hang our hats on.

There is no silver lining to this Offense, literally not one thing, this is statistically the worst Offense we’ve fielded in DECADES & this wasn’t an Offense that had a significant amount of turnover in the Offseason.

This cannot be excused as just “tHe pLaYeRs sUcK bRo!”, there are teams with FARRRRRRR worse players than us who have FARRRRRRR better Offenses & it didn’t take them 5+ years to figure out how to score multiple TD’s in 5 games.

It’s actually been undersold how bad our Offense is this year because there’s been a large contingency of player blaming, but aside from that, just look at the cold hard facts & the raw numbers in black & white, remove the Hurricane logo & just look at the stats for what they are, if this were any other team that was this bad in nearly every category it wouldn’t even be a debate as to whether or not the play caller needs to be fired.
 
With all the past coordinators we have had over the last 15 years how many conference championships have we won? How many bowls have we won? How many number one rankings have we had? But it’s not the level of talent and commitment from the players.

ON FIXING THE OFFENSE…​

“We have to find ways. We have to tweak stuff. We have to find ways to produce. We came in here with a plan. Coach Gattis runs a great offense that he ran really well at Michigan and he was very successful, but we aren’t there yet from a development standpoint, so we have to find ways to generate yards, first downs, and points. I am trying to uncover every stone to do that and we haven’t. It starts with the run game.”

MC is delusional if he believes this, time to move on from Gattis, Golden refused to acknowledge that D'Onofrio was horrible and it cost him his job. Mack Brown on the other hand while at Texas saw enough and fired DC Manny Diaz one day after BYU got 550 yards on the ground in defeating Texas. Gattis needs to go, but MC isn't go to fire him, hopefully some other program grabs him after the season.

Scoring 3 points in each of the last 2 games should tell you all you need to know about the offense plan. Does Gattis have pictures of Mario? He needed to be fired a couple of games ago. The DC should be getting his resume' ready also.

I was out on Gattis after game 3. Sucks that it looks like myself and so many others were right about him.

The 1st and goal at the 2 that some how ended up as a fumble at the 43 should be his staple of failure at this program.

i think since jacurri likely to be the qb the rest of the year it better to can gattis now/make ponce the playcaller/oc the rest of the year. it not much but at least ponce could theoretically jerryrig some type of app st. offense that would play to jacurri's strengths
