I'm not giving Steele a pass, but I know no matter how much effort or passion I pour into playing my role on defense, it won't matter as the offense is going to lose this game for us. One guy thinks like that, others notice it, then they think it and it's a snowball effect. I'm not saying they are giving up although I expect many have, but the offense is certainly taking a toll on the defense.

I think the defense just needs mfs that can tackle !!!!!!!!!!! He ain’t calling a bad defense . These players just not tackling and getting burnt. He has like 3 freshmen LBs coming in and a 5 star CB and hopefully some high profile transfers

I trust my eyes. I was yelling on this board after the A&M game that Gattis was trash and I had seen all I needed to see. It's good to hear that Cribby is speculating the same thing....but I didn't need confirmation on this to justify what I already knew .

Same as me, brother. I always trust what my eyes see. I’ve been saying it for nearly two months now. If Mario doesn’t do a complete 180 degree turnaround on his “philosophy” we are just beginning the long suffering that is ahead.

He needs an intervention yesterday. He needs to hire a modern and innovative OC and DC, and let them bring in their own guys. Then he needs to recruit and evaluate talent, and get the **** out the way on game day.

If he doesn’t embrace these simple facts, he will go down as the greatest corch in the history of our program.

Think Ponce may already be calling plays. Look at the formations and plays when Jacurri was in and look at what Ponce ran at App State. When Jake came back in watch the formations and play call change

Best thing that can happen is for Gattis to be fired immediately and Ponce named acting OC until season's end. This gives everyone a chance to see Ponce as a play caller before Mario has a chance to take the typical UM-easy out solution of promoting someone from a failed staff.

Recruits are big time turned off by Gattis. The recruiting section today per someone that was there was harping about Gattis ALL NIGHT. Even some of thr families were like yean nah he aint it. Mario is a recruiter first. Again trust @Cribby here
