OK, onto UM-FSU....

If our defense stays disciplined this is a blowout game. I think noles will do some counter plays to take advantage of our aggressive D. We have to not over pursue. 47-17

Yes, the UGA Auburn game is the deep south's oldest rivalry, but neither team has that game circled. UGA is circling UF. Auburn is circling Alabama.

I don't know what to tell you if you don't think AU/UGA isn't a rivalry game other than you're wrong. Sure Auburn circles Bama, but they circle UGA too. Same for UGA with UF. It's most definitely a rivalry game there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it. In fact, the AU/UGA rivalry has went from one where there was historically a good amount of mutual respect because of crossover ( Dooley being an AU grad and Dye being a UGA grad) to recently a good amount of dislike (since around 2010).
Bottom line is it's considered a rivalry from both sides. I grew up in GA, graduated from AU, have family and friends on both sides, and attend the game **** near every year. **** just last year chick fil a thought enough of it to open a special one day set up on the Alabama/GA state line (my hometown is west point ga) that was featured nationally. If your family doesn't think it's a rivalry, I can say they are definitely the minority.
 
Now with that said and maybe I'm taking it too far, but what worries me the most about the FSU game is Richt being prepared mentally/emotionally. The dude just has me gun shy. We should beat FSU by double digits. Here's to us doing so. Sure would be good to get some 1997 type payback, although I'm certain if we get up big he will call off the dogs. Hopefully freshman Lingard is going to channel his inner freshman Gore.

They were playing, it looked like to me, like they had to score, like they were behind. It was crazy.

You are correct. It was 1St down. The QB could have taken a knee 4 times and there would have been maybe a few second left on the clock.

Early in 2nd Q of Louisville FSU game, Louisville broke a few big runs against FSU. Then Petrino stopped running and passed more. Louisville should have kept running. I think DJ and Travis are each gonna get over 100 yards rushing against FSU.

I dont understand why coaches just dont have their QB kneel down in these situations - again, yards at this point aren't as important as grinding the clock(and getting teams to use their timeouts)

I will say that Terry kid is an impressive receiver. Gotta keep an eye on him.

The only one that could negate our DL advantage is Manny Diaz. Can’t give them any easy chunk plays with “exotic” blitzes.
 
Francois is a tough kid and their O line played better with ****erson back. I just don’t see their D stopping us if Perry takes care of the ball though

Really? You do realize UGA has other rivalries than Florida?

Richt vs. Florida 5-10
Richt vs. GT 13-2 (at UGA)
Richt vs. Auburn: 10-5
Richt vs. Tennessee 10-5

Those are all HUGE rivalries for UGA

At Miami

FSU: 1-1
VT: 1-1
ND: 1-1
 
You know how to neutralize Brian burns? Run right at him...he is average at best against the run
