OK, onto UM-FSU....

Uh yeah they are....
I live In Georgia and know.

Biggest 3 rivals
For them
Uf
Tennessee
Auburn
Thats like saying V Tech and UNC are our rivals. They're more like obstacles.

Yes, the UGA Auburn game is the deep south's oldest rivalry, but neither team has that game circled. UGA is circling UF. Auburn is circling Alabama.

My fam is from Valdosta. Still live there.

Wish I shared your confidence. I see a hurt FSU team fighting for their lives wanting nothing more than to take us out at home. That victory today will give them supreme confidence going into next week. Combine that with NP starting his first game in the rivalry and call me nervous.

I don't think barely bearing a bad Lville team that gift wrapped that win is gonna give them supreme confidence. But, it'll be a battle.

supreme confidence. louisville is just as bad as they are and they were in a dog fight all game. we just need to show up and play up to our potential and should be dominant performance.

No disrespect but I only read the first few sentences op.

If we had rosier I would have those same concerns. I think perry opens up the playbook way more and his escapability will give us a better chance as opposed to rosier with no zip trying to hang in the pocket. Just my 2 cents.

You don’t think CMR plays it safe with the rookie QB? That’s my concern. So far, he’s managed Perry very conservatively, which I don’t have an issue with. But with FSU, you have to open it up. Give them things they haven’t seen yet.

Richt will be safe in his play calls at first because FSU is going to test Perry's ability to read coverages. I expect a lot of passes to the flats and slants, and Homer carries load. I'd like to see Dallas in there, FSU will start cheating the safeties to take away the underneath stuff (can't overstate how much Perry's accuracy will make a difference, Rosier would miss on half his passes in the short game), then have Dallas throw a pass. 100% will work as FSu is undisciplined and will crash hard on the run.

IF Miami goes up two TDs early, I expect Richt will start dialing up some bombs and have Perry air it out. Miami should easily win, but it's on Perry not to keep fsu in the game with ill advised passes because he trusts his arm too much. Other thing that worries me, and I swear to God I will throw my phone through the TV if it happens, is more f#ckups on special teams and FSU gets cheap scores because of blocked kicks/punts. Special teams already cost us a game against FSU during Richts tenure, so if that sh#t happens again despite seeing awful special teams for years and doing nothing about it (still Hartley), Richt should be looking for another job after the game.

Agree with most of what you say.

Looks like FSU is starting to buy in.

Next Saturday will be a dog fight as it always is. Willie will certainly coach this week like this is his defining moment in big boy football. If FSU wins the game next week, it could be the start of the something big in Tally. Hoping CMR coaches with the same urgency this week. Perry's first start in this rivalry has me somewhat nervous. We know what we will see early from our offense. 2 runs and a short pass on the first offensive series.

Buy into what? FSU beat a downright awful Louisville team. A team that got embarrassed by UVA and struggled to beat an awful WKU club. Louisville will be lucky to win 4 games this year.

I haven’t seen the semenholes yet, who has ST advantage?
Is it possible to say neither ? Jk but their special teams is not good there punt coverage unit got shredded but undisciplined lousivlle held a lot and Ricky Aguyao is hot garbage

No excuses. Win the game. Year 3 and FSU is terrible and we are home. A loss to them is a staff ender for me.

FSU’s pass defense is a joke. The Cards QB threw for 306 yds...I mean this guy could have thrown for 500 yds being Rozier good.

Wow not one mention Cam Akers yet? Sure he hasn't played to his five star hype but still a solid option n most talented runner we will face thus far. UNC ran against us and I think that is the biggest concern...QB run and Cam Akers.

If they can run the ball that shortens the game, less time of possession for us, less offensive opportunities with our freshman QB. I think that's the biggest key- stopping the run which entails winning in the trenches, and our linebackers and safeties in position to avoid the long potential runs.

He didn't play it safe with rosier last year. Richt knows what this means.
