Get him cheap. 1.2 Million a year. He keeps Coley and promotes him to Associate HC. Coley helps keep Yearby on board, maybe they salvage 65% of the class.

With the cheaper contract, Big PAPI pledges he will bring in a top notch DC. Hurlie Stays, Barrow stays, at least as ST coach.

Its going to be Shannon 2.0 but with better press conferences.
 
Cristobal burned bridges when he departed.. Strong isn't going to move from lville to Miami, that's a lateral move. Plus far too expensive

I can't blame Cristobal for bolting. Imagine the disaster you have in the offensive meeting room when Coley, who was hired by Cristobal at FIU, is ordering Cristobal around. I thought the hire was bizarre to begin with.

Nah. He's too smart. He burned bridges maybe with fans. Im sure he told AG and even the AD when he was hired, "Look Im hoping for a better gig and if that comes along Im going to take it".

Everyone knows that AG grabbed him and gave him some made up b.s. slot to keep him here as a recruiter for a bit. Cristobal was never going to stay here in some made up phony position.

Maybe so, but losing half of a top 5 class with all the current JAGS on this team, plus uncertainity that the new guy will even be better, could continue the medocrity that has existed for almost a decade now.
