Lets get Ray Lewis to coach defense and maybe Mike Irvin can come be the WR coach too.

Dorsey has done a great job with Cam and is always being hyped as a guy to watch in the NFL.

Butch and Petrino would never be allowed to even set foot in Moral Gables, so there goes that.

So Id have Chud as my #1 candidate should Golden bolt for Penn St.

Has NFL experience? Check.
Has spent over 14 years in some capacity at Miami? Check.
Played for the U? Correct.
Has learned under the great Butch Davis and other outstanding coaches? Uh huh.
Like all successful college coaches, hails from either the south or Ohio? That's a bingo.
Won't rely on coordinators and is himself an x and o guru? Show em what he won.

Guys, this is too clear to me. Spread the word. We found him.

The smart move for Golden would be to take that job. Al Golden at best is a 9-4 coach, he knows that and many down here are starting to see that. He can coach for a long time at Penn State with that type of record.

Chud is about to make 10.5m or somethin to NOT coach the Browns. He is going to be really expensive I would think.

I would love to see strong get a shot he is well known in the state of Florida so we would most likely keep our current commits I would love to see him at Miami minus clint hurrts.... schiano would be a great fit also coached in the nfl had success but was a victim to the politics that comes with being an nfl head coach... he runs that pro style o that Miami fans love I think schiano or strong could take Miami football to that next level...

Strong would not come here and why would he?? They love him in Louisville, just led them to a 12-1 season, moving to the ACC now and he can recruit in the same conference as Miami, FSU and Clemson. L'ville has lower academic standards, their own stadium....He doesnt need to come here to recruit S. Fla. By the looks of it hes done pretty well down here already. With Teddy leaving I want to see how his teams do now though..

If and I say IF.... we had to get a new HC then we need to get someone who's MARK is either OFFENSE or DEFENSE. (ex: Malzahn, Fisher, Mora Jr are Offensive minded..>Saban is defensive minded as is Les miles

BTW Im not saying we are going after one of those coaches I mentioned above, simply used them as examples

The time for Golden to take the PSU job was 2 years ago. Not now. For various reasons, neither side was willing to pull the trigger 2 years ago. And have seen nothing in the past 2 years that would bridge that gap - on either side.

This^^^

It ain't happening, too many clowns posting garbage...

He gets a nice long term deal from Penn State and gets to come in an "rebuild" again. The rebuilding at Miami is done for him. Unfortunatley, we all realize (including Golden) that his brand of football just won't work down here. He also gets to save Dnofrio's career.

I think Al pulls the trigger knowing we have 3 amazing options who would be begging to take the job. Al loves our program and would be doing us a favor.

Rob Chudzinki, Greg Schiano and Mario Cristobal are all available.

Chud is the most highly regarded of the group and would be a star here. Was our best recruiter under Coker. Chud would be HC/OC and Dorsey would be on the first plane down to serve as QB coach/Asst OC. He would certainly ask Mario to come back and serve as OL/Asst HC. Chud is an offensive genius. Nobody can win in Cleveland.

Chud is the guy to take this program to the next level. He is Jimbo Fisher without the twang and overall doucheness.

Charlie Strong wouldn't even take our call. Neither would (insert name of hot college head coach here).

I am all over Chud with you. I figured he would last until next year. Him being available now is great. Mario, however, I am over. He is the anti-Golden-- not one drop of loyalty. Schiano would be good second choice, but I think I prefer Chud. If he brings Dorsey as QB coach, that would be great. Would like to keep Coley as OC for recruiting. Maybe Chud can "coach" him up some about OC stuff. More important is who he brings as DC. We just have hope it will be an agressive sob that wants to play Cane style.

I don't think Golden is going anywhere. Right or wrong he believes hes been recruiting with a "cloud" over him and now it is an even playing field. He is gonna land his best class so far. Don't know if he leaves here for the mess that is Penn St. Plus I think Golden would be a few coaches down on the PSU list of coaches to go after.

These fans have no other recourse but to hope, wish and pray Al takes the Penn St job. Not going to happen! Better keep getting used to the idea Al is the man and you fools are not. Donna give Al another 4 years so these so called fans will give up and pull for another team.

If he gets the 10 mil even if he coaches college, then maybe not so expensive. Plus, I assume we get buy out if Al leaves, so that can ease the pain. Donna has to hit home run and hit is fast if Al goes. The only downside to Chud is not college HC experience. Different animal than NFL. I am willing to throw those di.

I don't think they offer him either. Even at PSU, Al brings that dreaded anchor around his neck -- his BFF. PSU might be a little touchy over a DC who the HC is completely devoted too--get my meaning?
