Understand this "game of football" is not a sport and sure as **** had nothing to do with amateurism, that's the biggest myth and BS most fans have been suckered into buying. THIS IS A BUSINESS, sooner you accept an understand that the better you'll be. I am just hoping for a quick resolution either way.

You don't get it. A lot of us want him gone because we think he is nothing more than an average coach. I'm not upset that this is takin some time because I want him to stay. I'm upset because I want him out as soon as possible.

Not to be sacrilegious but why do we run to Jimmy Johnson every time we have a vacancy? JJ has been out of the game for a long time now. And do we ever really listen to him? Did he recommend Shannon? Or Coker? Or Golden?

I have to think that JJ would recommend Butch or Petrino. I just don't think the admin has the stomach for that kind of risk.
 
PSU always ticked me off as they had they high and mighty air about them and that "We are.." crap. Every PSU fan I came across had this " we are so much better than you" attitude about them. Always enjoyed their losses. But then the scandal hit them and I actually felt a bit sorry for them. They have a stain that will never come off. But now they are basically holding my team hostage while they go running around, stuck in snow storms (yeah right) and interviewing every recently fired coach to take their pitiful ncaa-nuked program. And this ticks me off royally. If we end up coming out of this better than when it started I'll be grateful but the longer this drags out the less that becomes a possibility and my hate for PSU is burning once again.
 
Nightmare scenario 1:

Ped State rejects BFA's advances.

BFA returns to UM.

Loserville hires Butch.

Uf.aag hires Petrino after firing Muschump.

UM fires BFA after another year or two of turning us into a laughingstock.

None of the great candidates that are available right now are available then.

UM fcks up again.


Dream scenario 1:

Pig face gets offered the job.

Pig face takes the job.

We immediately hire Olive Garden and start dominating.
 
Real simple, hopefully he is gone. If not, then fire Dorito and bring in a new DC with his own scheme. He either then bites the bullet and accepts or he doesn't then just quits, which would be retarded but hey.......
Still if he quits we don't pay him ****. No way we let him hold us hostage like this and if he does come back not get anything out of it.....
If Dorito is around in the spring, we have mouth breathers running this program, and we will never be good again anyway.
 
I think Penn State is dragging this thing to make announcement tomorrow. With the National Championship game, this gives them big media exposure. I think they will hire Golden.

hasn't it occurred to anyone franklin is a minority. maybe penn state wants to interview him basically for show so they can say hey we interviewed a few guys but golden al was the best guy. blah blah. I revised my odds last night. this thing is 30/70 he comes back. still a chance they decide to hire someone else. clearly he wants the job or else he would have pulled his name out. shame on our AD for issuing a statement last night that will ultimately make him look like a fool.
