Your basing he will make the correct changes on what? What has he done to show critical thinking in your expert opinion? If he makes zero changes headed into next year, what does that make you?

Your recent memory of when the last time Golden's name was in the circle, he got the contract. Now you don't think Shalala loves golden, your crazy. He probably will get a raise out of PSU wanting him, sit back and watch. Didn't say I like it, but it's how the new U thinks and colleges react to others wanting a coach.

BTW, thanks for the neg. I could give two rat's asses about them, but I would neg the thought of my post of the U giving him a raise also, but it could become a reality as Golden is one of the worst paid coaches in the ACC.

100 is right. That is how the game is played. I'd be shocked if Golden didn't get a bump or extension over this, that's if he doesn't leave.

Get TB? He was absolutely average prior to his arrival, 7-6, 7-6 take away his ability to get borderline kids into "school" and he's left with what?
And don't bring that "he beat Golden" bull****.

Yeah, I guess those who aren't pleased with a coach who has *one* win against a team that finished better than 7-6 are "******" dumb. Pardon having expectations for this program.

Oh and nice reference to the cloud as well. I wonder who will milk this further, the apologists or Golden himself?

Everything we've been through? You mean like 4 blowout losses in one season and losing to 2-10 Maryland?

Or are you suggesting we keep Golden because he stuck it out during the scandal (and by stuck it out I mean extorted the university) and he is absolutely 100% safe regardless of his job performance, which has been objectively bad?

I believe in Al, hope he doesn't leave. Don't know why everyone wants schiano. Decent job at rutgers but would be a down grade in my opinion, especially in recruiting

Regardless, doesn't he deserve the same chance Shannon got to get the ship righted? Maybe 4 years? Can't we at least be fair to the man who was blind sided by the scandal and the dark cloud over his head? I don't want to wait on him longer than the reasonable time frame given to a coach to resurrect a program that has been dormant for 10 years.
 
So lemme get this straight....when we lose recruits you all act like it's no big deal because "some kids just want to get away" or "we never get all the elite kids" or "only want kids who want to be "Canes" or we don't need him......but when it comes to our completely mediocre head coach 50% of you would be mad if he left?
 
If we change head coaches this early we would lose more than half of our commits and would have multiple kids transfer out, plus we would be considered an even bigger joke in the Miami community than we are now. We would have less kids than we had when Randy was fired. We would probably be in worse shape than USF is this year. I have always believed that a college coach needs atleast 4 years till he is brought on to the chopping block. Just have patience we don't have great talent and all of the kids we have with great futures are scarce or young and dumb right now.

Looking at the poll results, its very interesting to see about how evenly divided the fanbase on here is.
 
That job is Schiano's. But I'll be praying to the good Lord that PUS fcks up and takes Al and his best pal.
