UF pulled Treon Harris and CJ Worton on NSD. They also pulled Khairi Clark, Chad Wilson's son, and Brandon Powell.

FSU pulled Ermon Lane on NSD to go along with Dalvin Cook and and Travis Rudolph.

L u l z at this being a process. Expect more S FL ballers in the 2015 class to punk Miami.

Why does it matter why TV is not here?

Insert any reason (Hates the D, $$$$$, GENRON, LOVES LSU, Academics), who cares? The problem is he isn't here. Do you feel better if it was GENRON? Do you feel better if he hates our D?

The bottom line is TV is not a cane. That is the end of it. This is what sucks.

I love the way others are trying to project a beacon of positivity in the other thread.

This South Florida class was absolutely loaded and, more importantly, gave Miami the opportunity to bring in an elite class. The talent level on our roster, combined with the sheer fact we really don't seem to have many X's and O's gurus on the staff, presented a true need for an elite class. Instead, we just did good.

Meanwhile, the talent gap between Miami and FSU has grown even wider.

Thanks, Al.

We simply did not get any recruits not expected to. Our success was keeping thomas. We are good but not elite and wont be again. The"U" is gone, the university of Miami is here to stay.

This class won't finish top 10, everyone is adding a few players today to increase their star total/average.

It was a hugely disappointing ending to the cycle. We lost a lot of battles down the stretch for on-the-fence kids, and had a couple commits jump ship.

who cares if were top 10 or not. we filled some positions of needs and got some elite players this cycle.

The official talking points:

Anyone complaining about Miami's Top 10 signing class needs to take step back and evaluate what this staff has done since NCAA cloud lifted.

Since the NCAA sanctions came down it seems like we recruited on the same level, if not lower, than we were before. And that's a problem. It was supposedly hampering our recruiting efforts and to show no improvement once we got clarity on the situation is disappointing.

The people who continually point to our ranking care. Even though it's gradually slipped over the last month.

In the regular season we started off 7-0 and ish the bed down the stretch losing 4 of the last 6. In recruiting, we started off blazing as well, but as NSD approached and things got tense, we crapped the bed as well. Big time coaches and programs close on and off the field. On NSD coaches like Saban, Miles, Meyer, etc bring home the difference makers. They know how to close. Golden does not.

What also ****es me off is watching Bama, LSU and FSU sign who they want and then I have fools tell me that rankings don't matter. ***** please. Rankings don't matter then you have those teams consistently in the top 5, 10, 15.

Also the trogs on this board in one breath say stars don't matter, then they use our class ranking to support their theory that Golden is doing a good job versus those of who are vocal about his recruiting.
