Honestly if we go the college route and it’s not Mario I’d really like to see us go for a offensive stud coach instead of a guy focused on D.

Miami had made it a science to hire coaches that get the least of out of their talent. We need to hire people that do the opposite. Let’s get a proven coach who is not burnt out and has a lot to give.

Whether it’s fair or not, whoever is hired will have 2 years to show dramatic improvement. The first year will be a grace year, but then it will get ugly real fast if we drop a couple games.

need an overhaul of AD dept.without this you will get some retread, current AD would be incapable of hiring a true HC who can get it done
Blake and Carol must GO....... No decent candidate will emerge till those 2 *** hats are history

That's why Kiffin and Freeze are non-starters. Can't handled their own personal junk & no way the board or whoever runs the show signs off.

Miami needs a "professional coach," not a BS guy who dreamed of one day being a college coach, never played a down and lost all credibility after being embarrassed by the likes of Butch Davis and Mack Brown. Like everyone else, Mario C. should be top of the list. But would he leave an Oregon program for Miami, unless he's welcomed home as the savior with a fat check and the right to pick his AD?

So, if Mario isn't interested, it breaks down to leading possibilities from two categories. Any one of them would be an upgrade.
