Bienemy will be a HC soon in the NFL and Kafka will be next man up for the Chiefs OC. I don't think he is going to unhitch his wagon from Reid anytime soon. Would love to have him though.

What the F does Blake James know about hiring a quality OC? I’m all for accountability but given his track record on hiring decisions I think I’m cool with James sitting this one out.
 
Lane Kiffin as OC and Asst Head Coach. Other than Mario and Kiffin, Manny and Kiffin make so much sense. Would be a home run IMO, and we’d be the talk of college football with much needed splash and sizzle.

One other thing. I'm all in for an air raid guy, but maybe looking to the Chip Kelly tree is a better fit given the lack of primo QB talent in Florida. Don't get me wrong, I'd love, love, love to go air raid, but might be easier to run that Chip style given what's in the backyard.
 
I would like to see Diaz check with Kevin Wilson at Ohio State, especially now that Ryan Day is taking over the reigns.
Wilson's former OC at Indiana is also unemployed right now as he was on Kingsbury's TT staff.
 
Maybe we can replace Luke or Tricky Daddy as the musical conduit to the U with Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound Machine...Banana Boat U Baby!!! Love it!

For sure....it seems like someone lit a fire under Blake's culo....I just hope someone that knows something about college football with UM's interest in mind is providing him feedback (read: not Don Bailey Jr or many of the former players who have buddies trying to get a gig).

That’s what concerns me. James doesn’t know **** about football. I hope we don’t have our glory days players whispering “we’re Miami bro, we need a pro style offense bro” in his ear. Or worse, mandating that certain coaches need to stay on staff.

Isn't that the scariest part? Even some of the best former players have shown shaky decision making in multiple spots - business and otherwise. Isn't there an analytical adult we can rely on? ****, crowdsource a bit. Do whatever it takes to stop falling into this addict-like pattern.
