Tons of suspensions the last two years, then killed by injuries. Before that had some of the best offenses in the country. Think he got dealt a bad hand at the end there. For what it's worth, Paul Johnson of all people was standing up for him at the end. Don't think he had a reason other than respect.

I don't like people named after hats. Dont need any Porkpies, Beanies, Bowlers, Trilbys, Homburgs, Derbys, or Fedoras running our offense. I'm a hat bigot.
 
I love Fedora but strikes me as a “Todd Haley over throw the king” if necessary type. The first time Diaz makes a rookie coach mistake he will make things bad for him and feel he should be the HC.

That's a risk. Need to vet him properly. Saban makes it work, although, it's Saban.

Tony Franklin. Middle Tenn State. Was Cal's OC with Goff and took over for Leach at UK. Fired at Auburn after like a year in the Tubberville era. He's off that Leach/Mumme tree. Just not the guy I think any of us are thinking.

Steve Sarkisian just became available. He could be a mess in south beach but he's a stud OC. Thoughts?
 
Needs to be the right fit. Diaz got elite results from his unit because he is the right fit. A guy like Kiffin is the right fit. Coaches with balls. Coaches that know how to simplify.

Good....fantastic even...but it's still a pipe dream. He has a HC gig and will only become an OC in college is if he's fired.

One thing that scares me about him.... I saw Elliot play in high school. He has absolutely no business being an ACC QB. You have to have an eye for talent at QB and that’s not reassuring that he went down to Texas to sign him.

This is what scares me. UNC was the only team we faced with worse QBs than Rosier. Their offense has also been pretty bad the past two years without Trubisky/Williams.
