Kid is as advertised. You can see he is a leader and expects to dominate regardless of who lines up in front of him.
Coming off of a big loss playing a team like SSU it has let down potential all over it but the defense and guys like Nesta especially played with a lot of energy and emotion and really demoralized those guys throughout the game.
All this talk and no video of Nesta using a human carcass to block a punt?
(sorry best video I could find)
Crushed one blocker into the punter and then hit The punter again. Not done yet, he speared someone else on the goal line. This boy need to play both way—looks like the guard on the team too.
Yeah, he should've at least gotten last year's chain. Why didn't Nesta get the "turnover chain" for that play?
That turnover was all his.
Funny that you say that because after rewatching the game I said to myself all of this talk about Ford and bethel was just that; talk. We need to hit on another bigtime DT in the 19 class. Legit depth is how you compete every year.
I also think Miller has a chance. Conditioning will be huge for him though.
Ford is a good young DT.
And your first comment is precisely why I'm so concerned with our approach to the interior defensive line this recruiting cycle.
I had this concern when we jumped on Miller late last season, and I'm even more concerned now that we're hastily running up to New York.
Everyone not named Willis should be considered as still competing for the job, and should all rotate, until we see who the real # 2 man is.
