Notre Dame's QB1 in the Opener

You’re looked down upon if you stand up at notre dame football games what the **** kind of post is this 🤣

I can’t even begin to explain the polar opposites of environments between notre dame and Miami on a big night against a storied rival.

It’s going to be a very tough game no doubt but comparing the two environments each team plays in is ridiculous. Big night games in miami is total pandemonium. I don’t recommend anyone bringing children to night games against: fsu, UF, or notre dame. It’s the definition of hostile

was at Notre Dame's home playoff game.... been to countless big Canes games at the Rock (even pre-enclosed roofing) and there truly is not much a comparison in terms of intensity and hostility

Well,.. white Catholics kinda don’t have rhythm. The Miami vibe at HardRock scares them, and they S**t themselves. Let’s make them wear diapers on 8/31. Go Canes🙌🏽

I wonder if ND is throwing this smoke out there about there being a battle so that we're not prepared for a particular QB?

I don't think they're sandbagging it. I think it's genuinely a close battle.

Not having a clear starter this close to games is bad. Prevents you from giving that QB lots of time with the 1s. If they;re still splitting time with the 1s, there's not as much team continuity as you would like.

They still don’t understand what primetime at the rock means. I hope ND underestimates it but I’m sure they learned from last time..

Man id love to see them come out ****ing down their leg with an inexperienced QB again.

I think we should run as much as we can in that game. August heat and humidity is no joke. They’ll be gassed in the 4th
ND has the identity that Mario wants. Going to be a Mario ego game where we have to prove we can out physical them and win.

Over. Easily. 35-40 for both squads.

They are blasting Morgan wallen and Chris Stapleton at their practices from clips I’ve seen.

They are not ready for prime time in Miami Gardens.
Granted, the game was terrible from their point of view, but in general, I remember thinking that a lot of the ND folks I saw at the last game seemed generally unprepared for a raucous Miami fan base. Folks I saw were dressed too nice and seemed too proper.

It’s a night game and we said that about Michigan state in 2021 and they ran us off the field and we had guys puking in the trash can

We have almost 2 entire rows up against the wall in the lower bowl. A group of ND fans sat directly in front of us. When I tell you they genuinely had their hands over their ears and left before halftime, I can barely believe it myself. I just cannot imagine that environment ever being duplicated. I hope I'm wrong. It was one of the most fun nights ever at Hard Rock Stadium.

Just pay a little attention to the media. Most are just talking heads who say things to ingratiate themselves with the conferences/TV networks they work for or desire to work for. With that said, I have noticed that more of the media is now starting to pick Miami over ND. And, I think that is b/c ND's QB situation is unsettled and unproven. Furthermore, about that ND defense. It's not a proven unit. The media is glazing them for beating an UGA team w/out Carson Beck (UGA wasn't an offensive threat at all in that game), a terrible Penn State offense, and an Indiana team that would've lost a few games with a tougher schedule.

Yes very comparable teams🤣

Feel like we had a warm up game with VT the week before.. That feeding frenzy the crowd was able to get into with turn over chain and pick at end with QB getting leveled on run back, had everyone walking out of stadium like WHO'S NEXT?! ND YOUR NEXT!!!

I will never understand how little is being made of Miami having Carson Beck probably the most experienced QB in big times games in the county is going to start for Miami in Miami. Notre Dame is going to play someone who hasn't really started or played in a meaningful game. I like it and can't wait for this game. Can't wait to be there.

They did face Penn State at Hard Rock in the playoffs last year.... Not sure this means anything, as obviously this was not a home crowd and the weather will be different, but they've experienced the stadium at least to a degree.
