Anyone remember the Chancellor of UW saying she would never allow a home and away scheduled with Miami again after our behavior in the night revenge game against Washington? Hostile with intent. That ticket could have come with a PG13 rating. ;)
I think our fanbase can take it a bit far but there’s no doubt there isn’t a fanbase like it in college football. Hostile is the only word to describe it. The hostile word is used far too often in college football because they hear 100k fans scream “orange” “blue” or very lame chants …. We don’t fill it up often but when we do… it is the true definition of hostile

They had 11 original starters out, so it was their 2nd & 3rd string who were in the 2-deep for the CFP. So yes, they were getting a lot of practice reps because they were in the 2-deep. And those guys are all back this season. They had more practices from the end of the regular season to the title game than a team gets in spring and fall camp combined.
That’s a lot of reps.
Beat me to it.

No disrespect, but that's not quite correct. ND was missing 7 starters and three backups. The LT started the season as #3 on the depth chart. Mills one of the stating DT's was lost during the first playoff game while the other DT had been playing on a high ankle sprain. On defense they lost the starting Safety, a CB, the two DT's and MLB to the draft or graduation. Your point is still valid in that Golden played a lot of rotations so a lot of guys have experience.

On paper Miami is overmatched here. Good thing they don’t play the game on paper. Vegas has it right IMO. Canes need to win this game at QB.

Interesting. I wonder how much of an effect the fact that they are splitting practice reps has an impact on the offense as opposed to circumstances like here where you have a clear number one who is getting all the reps with the first team. I imagine we are going to get a heavy dose of the run game. It sure would be nice to put them in a little bit of a hole and put them in a position where they have to fling it.

That was a night I’ll never forget. Possibly the most raucous crowd I’ve ever been apart of. …can’t think of another game that’s topped it and I’ve been to many (43 yrs old).

The whole game is going to come down to the run.

Whoever stops the run on Defense & can run on Offense will win the game.

The reality is that in the spring, it is smart for coaches to say this so guys don’t answer the portal. Right now you can’t enter the portal. So this is only a negative in my opinion. Splitting reps, and just the fact that one guy hasn’t separated himself.

I'm thinking the foundation of their O plan is going to be J Love.

Stop their rush and Miami has a very good chance of winning.
