Notre Dame

I hate ND in all ways. Whiners. Soft a$$ schedule. No idea why acc or ncaa kowtows to them. Obviously they need the acc more than we need them (all sports) so how does the acc negotiate special treatment for them. Just tell the to go away. Go join the big 10 who would probably let the keep playing army, navy , little girls of the poor and limit their conference games to nw and Rutgers.

Unfortunately both our schedules are pretty charmin soft. At least we play one good game in each other. BYU and SMU are ok. Who do you guys think are your second and third toughest games this year?

Domers have an absolute joke of a schedule (every year) and then get exposed when thrust by the "voters" into a meaningful game only to get throttled. This year their automatic bid clause kicks in too so a deserving team will get left out this time around.

No respect for these soft sissies

Can’t help that sec schools are pulling out of series

After you guys I think personally Clemson will be better than some suspect.

I don’t even know after that tbh

1. Clemson
2. Pitt
3. FSU. They are garbage but it’s still a rivalry game. The UM game is pretty much the only thing that is going to motivate the players that quit on Norvell.

The CFP sequence was a classic display of ND arrogance and hypocracy.
1) They actually argued head-to-head matters less than some end of season beauty contest.
2) Thier AD picked a fight with weakling ACC over UM, while being too afraid to take on the SEC despite having 5 teams in the playoffs.
3) Too special to play in a bowl game; trying to punish the world for not being selected.
4) Too special to join a conference. Why buy the cow if you can get the ACC milk for free.
5) Exerted leverage for special guaranteed future playoff bid with one loss; no other team gets similar treatment
6) JL bragging about hurdling a UM defender despite being held to 33 yrds

It's nothing new. Over the years we've endured their holier-than-thou (literally) attitude, thinly-vailed racism in characterizing UM as thugs and convicts, endless excuses (they intimidated us in the tunnel, our bus was hit with a bottle, our academic standards are so much higher, etc).

The great thing about scheduling ND is they are reliably overrated, so one win and you're in the title discussion (assuming head-to-head matters, haha).

The fact they didn't build their argument for a playoff bid on a ND v Bama comparison is what did them in. And I agree it was because they felt they had more leverage over the ACC. It's the one time the ACC didn't bend over for them but defended Miami, which was awesome to see.

What's crazy is people are still buying the SEC's bull**** that they somehow deserve 5 spots in the CFP. Only suckers buy their/ESPN's spin. Their 4-5 teams are just not as good as the top teams from other conferences who are more deserving. ND, BYU and Utah all should have gotten in over Bama.

Bama went 9-3, and got completely smoked by FSU (31-17), yet the ND AD publicly goes after the ACC for supporting UM for a playoff birth. Coward! Where was the self-righteous ND fanbase over the indefensible SEC favoritism (5 of 12 slots!)? Crickets...Oh, and least we forget, the heralded Crimson Tide lost to IU 38-3 in their one and only playoff game.

The fan base was super upset about the AD going after the ACC. It made no sense. The real problem was the SEC. We were all wondering why he was being a coward. I said it when Miami was behind ND in the rankings, they both deserve to be in. I saw the writing on the wall early in the year with the SEC struggles. I posted that I watched the ND/Pitt and Miami/Pitt games right before Alabama and Oklahoma games and the speed of the Miami and ND games were so much faster. I got attacked by the SEC Homer's, but I was 100% right. I really wish the AD had gone after the real culprit of SEC and ESPN. Miami and ND were easily two of the most dangerous teams. In fact, Cignetti is on record last year of saying those two were the two teams he wouldn't have wanted to play in the playoffs.

I hate ND as much or more than the next person, but ND likely would have won at least 1 playoff game.
They were definitely better than Bama, JMU, Oklahoma and Tulane. I bet ND would have beaten Oregon as well. All those teams were exposed as soft.

Yes. ND should be ****ed about that, not obsessing about how we supposedly got in above them undeservedly.

10000%.
But let’s admit that is was the committee that kept pitting UM v ND. The committee created that narrative for about 3-4 weeks. And the ND people bought into that dumb narrative instead of having the sense to realize the real fraud in the CFB was not UM but the plethora of undeserving teams.

Check back my posts in here well before the final committee reveal. I and my ND friends were saying for weeks that they both should have been in.
