I’m about whatever helps Miami first and foremost. That’s my only concern. I would cheer for North Korea in a football game if them winning somehow benefited MiamiWhat if they have two losses and we have one. I think it helps us? Plus...**** them.
Totally fair man totally fair unfortunatelyhaha im accounting for the annual cristofail at some point this year. a strong ND would give us the mulligan
Until the playoffs….we need ND to win every game here on out.
I know some folks that went as well and said it was the best away game they’ve ever been to fan wise. Why do we hate TAMU? I went to the 2008 game at TAMU and their fans were awesome. They invited us to their tailgate, fed us BBQ and beer and were nothing but cordial in the stands. Having said that, a ND win vs an "SEC" team would be better for us.
They gonna do everything they can to get a 3 loss SEC team in the playoffsDon't get it twisted tho, if ATM beats ND they will slide that mediocre SEC slop in the playoff at 9-3...
We all want both teams to lose on Saturday and TD Jesus to implode and fall upon the field engulfed in flames...
Short of that desired end state, what is the best outcome that serves Miami's interests?
- Want a decisive ND W over aTm for Miami to maintain "quality win" on resume
- ND imploding against aTm hurts our Canes in November
-- Eliminates (essentially) Irish from CFPO in week 2
-- Body blow to Miami's at-large chances vs SEC/B1G hopefuls
Again, **** the Domers, but as Canes fans we want them to beat the brakes off aTm on Saturday.
"Early in the season doesn't mean as much". They'll just find narratives to fit whatever end result they want. All of this is accurate & yet I'm not about to sit here & actively root for our opponents. We haven't done **** in decades.
I'm just focused on rooting for  us to handle  our business, which has been our 1st & primary obstacle. We do that & nothing else matters. If, at the end of the season, we need to rely on strength of schedule to get in then I can, begrudgingly, be happy those Dbags won.
Say ND goes 11-1 & we're 10-2 & ACC runner ups. You trust the committee to put us in ahead of them? Obviously they should but WILL THEY? Maybe we both get in but once you get a bunch of idiots with agendas in a room, they can convince themselves of anything.
Excellent point."..I'm just focused on rooting for  us to handle  our business, which has been our 1st & primary obstacle. We do that & nothing else matters..."

ND loses a ton. "That win wasnt all that great"
"Miami regressed during the season like last year"
Told ya.I want to believe you...however...
IF they don't get the same help from referees like they did against our Canes...could be long games for them against aTm, USC, and Arkansas....
