Rumor Notre Dame vs aTm...Impacts to Miami

Why do we hate TAMU? I went to the 2008 game at TAMU and their fans were awesome. They invited us to their tailgate, fed us BBQ and beer and were nothing but cordial in the stands. Having said that, a ND win vs an "SEC" team would be better for us.

We all want both teams to lose on Saturday and TD Jesus to implode and fall upon the field engulfed in flames...

Short of that desired end state, what is the best outcome that serves Miami's interests?

- Want a decisive ND W over aTm for Miami to maintain "quality win" on resume
- ND imploding against aTm hurts our Canes in November
-- Eliminates (essentially) Irish from CFPO in week 2
-- Body blow to Miami's at-large chances vs SEC/B1G hopefuls

Again, **** the Domers, but as Canes fans we want them to beat the brakes off aTm on Saturday.
Yeah, there comes a time where we gotta throw away that i dont care if our rivals suck mantra, because it seems like anything the U does, it will **** us in the long haul.

This isn’t hard. You want every team on your schedule to win every game but the one against you.

Yes, I enjoy seeing ND and UiF lose. But I’m not eight years old. I want Miami to be as successful as humanly possible. That trumps everything else. Miami’s success is propelled mostly by their performance on the field, but also by the performances of the teams they beat.

As a 10-2 team who missed the playoff last year solely because they didn’t beat any good teams, I don’t see how this is even a discussion. We want ND to win 38-0 on Saturday.

This…

All my people who are die hard Nole fans, their distain for Miami (they respect us but their anger) is rooted in all those 1 loss seasons or that loss in October that kept them from playing for a Natty. 14 years of consecutive top 5 with only two titles to show for it? We had a lot to do with them not playing for more. Being the one team another can’t get past means something.

Those ******** are lucky we went on probation during that run.

You are wrong. I want all the teams except for UF and FSU to win all their other games. But those programs can rot, especially since they’re our only in state recruiting competition.
Nah, after last year... iono. I hate the gator and the ****noles as much as the next. But, we're also dealing with the CFP committee and mfers who hate us more than we hate the gator and the ****noles.

Dilemma.

That’s a part of it and I almost included that but I’m lazy. The majority of the post related to ND. I agree with you, recruiting does impact the discussion. I’m talking just about this one season, though. If we want the highest seed possible, we want the best resume possible. I hear you though.

I always want teams we play to win every game except ours obviously. I ain’t rooting for em tho

Ultimately winning the ACC or a 2 loss acc team with one of those losses coming in the ACC champ game gets in, thats the only thing that matters if we are talking fr

Doesnt truly matter if ND wins or not tbh but I wouldnt mind them to do good just to prop ourselves up.

Jimbo's gone. aTm is an SEC school. They are playing a team we beat. I can't think of a single reason I would want aTm to win.
