Notre Dame AD: ACC did “permanent damage”

I love those Pet Shop Boys songs from when I was in college in the 80’s (no homo… not that there’s anything wrong with that of course)

I know the @TheOriginalCane will appreciate this.

LOVE the PSB. Loved Electronic. Love New Order.

I will say, one of the most fun concerts I ever attended was out on Miami Beach.

Erasure.

It was the tour where they were spinning a wheel, and then whatever song it landed on they would play. Near the end of the show, they dumped a huge amount of feathers from the balcony, and we all left with feathers sticking to us. The 80s and 90s on South Beach were just different (no homo… not that there’s anything wrong with that of course).

I could say the way ND is acting is causing permanent damage to how the country views them. Congrats now an entire country will root against you moving forward.

Ps. Join a conference you b#tches
I think it just confirms what the country already thinks of them.

Nd's reaction to all this is more entertaining than watching a plot twist on a wrestling show.

Been a long time since I heard them. I used to have cassette tape of them. I played it so much I stretched the tape till it broke.

ND’s illogic and cognitive dissonance:
1. Whimpering about the ACC when it’s the SEC that controls the CFP cartel.
2. Complaining only after they were passed over; had they been selected all would be well.
3. Recognizing the unfair incentives of an SEC/ESPN deal while ignoring the unfair incentives of an exclusive NBC/ND deal.
4. Complaining about running up the score for the judges after dropping 70 on SU for the judges.
5. Expecting ACC support for FB, despite being independent in FB.
6. Thinking college football will somehow change course because they thew a tantrum.

It’s a long list. What have I missed?

I love how you ignore the fact that we look like a more dominant team when we play our A game than ND does. And thankfully, we played our A game when it truly mattered
This is the thing though my friend… all this talk about how we beat Pitt vs how they beat Pitt or Stanford - is nonsense. It should never have been a conversation. Same record. We won the H2H, it should’ve been done at that.

I was fine with ND being ****ed about Bama jumping them and also rising with a loss. But when they start threatening and coming at the ACC for supporting its full fledged member who beat them???

Now I hate them and hope our conference helps them out the door with their buyout. The ACC saved ND in that Covid year when they were on the outside looking in with no hope. Nice payback. And honestly, the nerve of them to call out a conference for supporting a conference member here.
