11/8 - 12/7 of 2025 has to be THE best 30 day period of the last 22-23 years for Miami football. The run of domination we closed the season on, signing day was strong, playoff birth, ******* over ND, etc.

Wow
Agree
Canes are HOT right now
I feel very confident we are going to go kick A&Ms ***

I mean, not really. We dominated Pitt and Stanford more than you did. Watch the games. We played our subs the last 1.5 quarters, when you still had your ones in trying to pad the score. But it worked for you. We should have done the same. Not hating. It was probably smart of you.
You’re doing a great job at 2 things.

1) Carrying that ND fan smugness that thinks their **** don’t stink.

2) Being completely wrong.

This is exactly the case. The ACC ND deal, which is protected by a Grant of Rights, is:

1) ND gets to be ACC in every sport except football and hockey (there is no ACC hockey(
2) ND has to play 4-6 ACC teams a year, a combination of home and away
3) all ND away games vs ACC teams are shown via ESPN/ABC and are part of the ACC deal with that network
4) all ND home games vs ACC teams are shown on NBC, and the ACC is NOT included in any deal with NBC
5) If ND joins any conference in football other than the ACC, it must pay an exit fee to the conference, probably many tens of millions of dollars.

It was a god awful, stupid, zero benefit deal for the ACC who has continually stepped on its own junk to protect its self image as an "elite academic, basketball first conference" in a world where basketball might as well be ping pong relative to the amount of money football makes.

Do you guys remember when the ACC even let them play for the Conference Championship during COVID (lost to Clemson)? ACC leadership has always had a woody for Notre Dame for some reason.

He can wait 4 days unless you’re able to awaken Andrew to complete the task.
I’ve given this some extended thought and, if this change was made after SMU, I think it should stick while we continue to win. Maybe this deserves its own thread. I promised not to travel with the team any longer. Jay can keep a message board handle. Everyone has to do their part, IMO.
