Not breaking news, but…

This ain't it. Most knowledgeable posters don't want to run 90 plays a game. But, you need to be able to modulate tempo. Meaning, a modern offense should be able to go fast when necessary (early in games, 2 minute drill, etc.) and go slower when necessary to eat clock. I also happen to love when a team goes fast after a big play to catch a defense unprepared (like near the goal line). Right now, we're one speed regardless whether it's a tie game or down 21. It's infuriating to watch. There should be a happy medium.
When we have a better QB play I agree 100%.

This D is not deep enough to hold up with the offense running tempo. The OP suggests Dawson's solution is to run tempo for TVD.

That's a dangerous proposition with the way TVD has been playing.

Even tempo in spurts is very likely to backfire with the current state of QB play.

Other than tempo while trailing late, I am not buying tempo to jumpstart TVD was a viable option. He goes 3 n out or turn it over in 40 seconds and then what?

The bigger problem is why haven't we seen the motion/creativity from the early season? We haven't even seen the 2 RB power sweep looks that were successful since the UNC game. Where is the Colbie Young Jacolbie George PA stuff at the goalline??

Sidenote: Oregon ran tempo in 2021 for sure. That Ohio State game they were going fast if you pull up the full game.

I am calling BS on the notion that Mario is fundamentally opposed to tempo.

I really don’t get the obsession on this Board with manny
Three reasons, IMO:
1) We were promised a nationwide coaching search when Richt retired, and then a day later they announced they were giving the job to Manny without interviewing any candidates. In his defense, that's more on Blake James but the fanbase took it out on Manny.
2) Dan Enos
3) That FIU loss

See I thought we could have a friendly discourse but then you insult me by offering up that PGR fed BS trash I guess you can call weed. Also, learn to ****** read, I 100% place blame at TVD’s feet just not all of it.
Oh no🫣!!! 😰Can you tell me if these are any good? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Open competition or let’s not kid ourselves a more lucrative NIL since our dear TVD wanted more NIL money pretty much guaranteed he’d be the focking starter here anyway. So ya’ll that keep throwing shade at Mario for doing exactly what most of the crazed TVD slurping Canes fans are just as guilty with that INT specialist for handcuffing the program. If he would’ve pulled TVD earlier when he should’ve most here would’ve lost it. This fan base is a joke. Not realistic fans just wanting gratification right now. Forget the fact that we had a roster full of JAGS including at starting QB.

Ya’ll gotta tie your panties up & chill with this. You know what helps? Not looking like **** on Saturdays and winning 5-7 games every year, lets start there.
Not having coaches *****ing and moaning trying to pass blame would absolutely be helpful. That’s who should tie their panties up and solve the problems. Particularly when basically the only player said coach coaches individually is our worst starter currently.

Multiple things can be helpful. Don’t complain about getting your nose cut off, just use your eyes!

Its the reality man lol, yall just seen that **** work and think we doing something different. Of course what u ran vs a team that didn’t respect your passing game will look different vs teams that want to take away the pass by any means
You are making too much focking sense for some in here brother. Denial is a mothafocker 🤣😂🤣💪🏾🇺🇸

It's a chicken or the egg problem. Is TVD the problem, and it doesn't matter what you do. Or, can you get better QB play if you go tempo? I personally think that you have to fit your scheme to the players and I think he fares better with tempo.
