RB is such a wild position in college.

Nobody wants to stay four years because the lifespan is short and the NFL has devalued the position so much that just getting drafted is a big deal now.

You only have so many carries to give out. You either play some kind of predetermined rotation like we do or you risk losing guys to the portal every year.

You really don’t need more than two running backs but someone always gets hurt so you better have at least three or four playable guys. It if you have four playable guys, someone is going to be the odd man out when it comes to playing time because it’s **** near impossible to give four guys enough touches to even get warm. It’s a constant juggling act.

Big fan of this pick-up. High upside RB3 w/ 3 years of eligibility. His HS film showed a tough, decisive runner with deceptive short area burst. If Fletcher isn't healthy and/or putting the ball on the field, I could see this kid eating into his snaps.

This was a great pick up for the spring portal as a guy fighting for #2 and #3 rb carries.

This eases the weight of Elijah Lofton carrying this whole team on his back

Not sure why a pass catching RB would be important here. That has been a very very small part of the offense and rarely ever by design. Meaning if the RB gets a catch it is only done on a check down.
