FSU gets National Championships and 5 stars we get Duck Commander and decommits its a process

They will have had 5 consecutive 5* recruits commit to them- Mcfadden, Patrick, Henry(2016), Sweat and Nauta (#1TE 2016 this Sunday) while we have consecutive 3* decommitting.....

This is only the beginning of the talent gap widening even further between FSU and UM. And McElwain is making it clear that he'll be making South Florida a priority, which is very smart on his part considering the current state of our program. Premier talent is ripe for the picking for FSU & the SEC because this administration is sitting on its hands and money by refusing to fire Golden.

The self-inflicted damage that will be done in recruiting due to Golden's continued presence these next two cycles cannot be overstated. A new coach could've come in, tried to salvage the '15 class, bring in a monster '16 class, and legitimately had us competing for a conference title next season depending on the strength of the hire. Now we're a lame duck program next year that will keep even less talent home.

We're beyond f***** and have no one but this administration to blame.

Man, FSU just gets it. They improved their facilities, and they have a competent AD who actually cares about Athletics. We, on the other hand, have an incompetent AD, President, and BOT who care more about passive money generated from being in a Power 5 Conference then continuing on the legend that is the U. Our worst move was moving to the ACC. It allowed the Admin to remain pat b/c win or lose we are getting paid as a university and that money is used on any and everything outside of football.

When you have this much incompetence, the evidence is clear both on and off the field. We are completely failing. You can't fail both on and off the field. If you fail on the field, easy fix...get a new coach, but the fact that we're failing off the field simultaneously show we have way bigger problems than Golden. Our only hope now is who we obtain as a new President. If they roll with athletics, we'll be fine...if not, we're toast and we'll be considered the little brother in the state of Florida.

People forget fsu has young talent and this was the year to capitalize considering it was not their strongest team and the off field stuff

u also forget they lose a star qb after this year and have to hope they hit on another the way they hit on winston (this was their best qb since weinke)

Smh it's not even fair how much talent they have on there roster

how so, they have earned it by having a staff that is competent, an athletic department committed to success, and a police department willing to sacrifice their morals for their athletes. I would say it is completely fair, a lot of work went into that.

Its ok guys!

Remember when people were making excuses for Coker's lack of recruiting when we were on top? smh

I remember it very well. The chefs of the world were lamenting how hard it was to recruit to UM because of how good the team is and how many talented players there were, blah blah. Many of us bought it. Looking back, it was a load of ****.

We need to stop worrying about FSU. We can't even beat the UVAs and Pitts consistently. No way in **** we can compete with the top dogs like FSU. I just hope we come to our senses the way they did after they got tired of losing. It seems Miami is ok with being a middle of road ACC team.
