We are in quite the conundrum as Miami fans. Root for one of our most hated rivals just so to be over that threshold not to fire their coach? If that threshold is 6 wins that guarantees Norvel is back for another season, I might have to force myself to be ok with them winning 6 games. I really want to see them implode again and win only 2 games, but I also want Norvell to be FSU's coach for eternity.

Beating smu and virginia helps us esp since we don’t play Virginia .

It does help us, but I really want to see SMU go in there and obliterate FSU. A lot of their fans have come around and realized they are not a good team after the slugfest against NMSU. The tears would be glorious after SMU beats them down. Then have them go 1-6 in that stretch from SMU to Clemson. Their only win being that gimmie against Central Arkansas. FSU would be on the verge of firing Mike, but he will go 4-0 in the last 4 games, the last win against UF thus securing Norvell safe for another season. They will have beaten no good teams for the season. All 6 wins against bad or mediocre teams.

He’s right though low key, those guys were so special as college guys that it disguised all that **** underneath. I remember saying that they would fall and what Mike was doing on the trail would destroy that program. It’s crazy the people up top did not see it and they went by the record. The record doesn’t always tell you the whole story, they went by the stats. Bunch of goofies, while I was here waiting for our rise knowing that we were stacking

And Mike took advantage of no elite recruiters chose to attack the portal. It was the greatest thing to happen

Nothing should be shocking remember their board after that fluky win over a mid bama team and then beating some JUCO Texas school by 50 they were already booking playoff tickets and how bad they were gonna beat us.
 
I have FSU friends who are dreaming up scenarios it was not that bad.

Not rubbing it in on them.

Lashlee is going to have those DBs in a blender. They looked utterly confused all game. I’m sure some of the cobwebs are out now but man that was embarrassing.
