CIS Noles on fckn life support when they ready to die on any hill in the TEARS thread ffs

I love these arguments. “He’s mid”. There are 138 FBS programs. “Mid” would put him at what, the 69th best coach? You can name 68 active FBS coaches better than James Franklin? I bet you would struggle to name more than 10. He’s not elite but he’s in the upper echelon of coaches. He’s mid what has he won ? When’s the last time he beat Ohio state . Lost to Michigan the last 3 years . Oregon both times . He plays a few good teams every year loses and beats bad teams the rest of the year . So you believes he’s bringing Vt back ?
I’m sure Sorsby knowsCan anyone remind me of what the bet was that the FSU fan lost and was supposed to eat **** but faked it and jinxed them?
He prob took the under. LolI’m sure Sorsby knows
This is all incredibly subjective.
I’m not sure I’d blame the quarterback in a 46-38 game. Especially when the quarterback added 75 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown.
Pitt was literally his best passing performance of the season against FBS opponents. They lost 34-31. Not sure how the quarterback gets the blame for that one.
Castellanos had more passing yards than Jordan Travis did in 2023 on fewer attempts. He also outgained him on the ground 557-176. With a much weaker supporting cast. He did throw 6 more interceptions but is that extra half an interception per game the difference between 13-0 and 5-7? Ca
2025 FSU might be 6-6 with Jordan Travis. Their talent levels from 2022/23 to 2025 aren’t even comparable.
Disagrees he’s an average af best coach .
We already learned this is the case during our 20+ year period of mediocrity. Even if you have a good QB, the lack of a well-rounded roster is going to cost you.You all are drunk. With a good QB, they beat UVA, Pitt, and Stanford, and they're an 8 win team.
disagree their Oline has been trash for years and defense is trash with no depth. No LBers with talent and no elite dlineman… they would’ve found ways to lose multiple winnable games regardless.
That’s a huge indictment on a “developer” with a “good offensive mind” that he can’t have decent QB play after having been the HC for years.Just look at them.with and w/o Travis. A decent QB and they are bowl eligible last 2 years.Even a solid coach needs trenches and all the other position groups too. No bias, FSU is cooked for minimum the next 3 years.
That's not even theirs. They stole it from the Gaytes!Scumwhat a bunch of cucks
At the start of the 2024 season, after they lost in Dublin to open the year against Georgia Tech, one of their fans went on social media and said if they lost the following game, which was the home opener on Labor Day night to Boston College, he'd eat dog **** out of a cup and video it.
Obviously that got some attention, and then went nuclear once they lost the game, which wasn't even very competitive. So everyone went after the guy demanding he pay his bet and eat the ****. Which, of course, he never did and deleted all his accounts. So everyone said he cursed the entire season by reneging on his bet.
And they've been open *** ever since, going 7-17 the last 2 seasons. And in case you're scoring at home, the last time Miami won 7 or fewer in combined seasons was 1976-1977, when we combined to go 6-16.
So, FSU is worse than Miami has been in 50 years. Hate to see it. Buddy better slurp up that dog**** ASAP.
Thing is the next coach is not going to be someone with name recognition that might get some kids to come just because of him .Its going to be an OC from a P4 or a G5 guy cause that’s all they’ll be able to afford.FSU is a 3 year rebuild to be a CFP caliber team. A good coach and decent portal haul gets them to 7-8 wins year 1 without a problem. The rest is tougher though.
Their biggest issue is that they don’t have the $$$ to compete right now. They made multiple bad bets on how to use their resources. One big reason why they’re so desperate to get their hospital system going (other than it being needed for AAU) is that they need a new stream of revenue to pull from.
F I F YCareful with the Castellanos-Travis comparisons. Let's not forget, Jordan Travis only played 10.1 games that year.
Also, in F$U's seven losses, the opponents scored 20, 21, 24, and 28 in four of them (and two of those losses were by double-digits). So...yeah, a bit more offensive production could have won them more games, so I'm going to look to the QB here. Not JUST Castellanos, but he was a big part of their failure in 2025.
F$U is a mess, from the AD on down to the cheerleaders.
