You can also argue that the 2nd two years prepared him for the pros so that the transition was smooth. It's really quite a silly arguement.

Do they really think that during the meeting with the NCAA that Ruiz didn't outline how his NIL deals work and then ask so is that within the rules? I mean that is what I would do if I was in his shoes and had them there talking to me. Verify that what I was doing was the within the rules so that I do not get Miami or any of the kids in trouble.

His QBs were pretty good for him in his 4 years at Memphis. He had Riley Ferguson first and then Brady White.

Certainly nothing anywhere close to where you could use those facts to discount anything that Herbert did under Mario. Neither of those kids sniffed the NFL. But they were good college players.

Bottom line, if the best QB your coach ever groomed was Riley Ferguson and Brady White, you can't say a single syllable about how Mario Cristobal handled Justin Herbert.

Don’t count on many battles with them… they’ve been recruiting on a Memphis, UCF, and GT level…. Them boys are getting tired of getting whipped on the trail by legit head hunter recruiters… their looking for easy layups these days
