Love how they believe John Ruiz is Miami’s only booster. He’s definitely the most vocal but there’s plenty of very wealthy individuals involved.

Even if he was the only person spending money, they’re in the same weird denial that a lot of Americans are when it comes to how wealthy billionaires are compared to the average person. They could have 10,000 boosters donate $500 each and it would just be a drop in the bucket for someone worth 8-10 billion dollars. The gap between millionaires and billionaires is miles wide. The gap between billionaires and the average middle class college grad is light years.

Here's a different way to wrap your head around it. 1 million seconds is 11 days. 1 billion seconds is 31 years or 11,575 days. Time, of course, cannot compound in growth like money can at those levels.

You know actually having an Army offer is pretty impressive. It means they think he can get in. No shlt unless this guy was going be the next Edge or something, I would advise him to go to Army based on that list. His future is set if he can stick with it.

I know several kids that have gotten into the service academies and it’s all worked out incredibly for them.

But back to the tears aspect, good Lord they are scraping the bottom, no offense to this kid who’s an outstanding prospect for mid-level schools I’m sure.

Jacksonville State is the FCS school that owns Forfeit State on the field.
Jackson State is the FCS school that owns Forfeit State in recruiting.

Absolutely. All the guys I know who went to a service academy are fairly successful, including a couple of athletes I knew from HS.

Didn't you know, it is very common for a person to reverse course on a very public transfer to a starting job, and to go back to the place where he was the backup, all because some friend he used to go to high school with died.

After all, when Mario Cristobal's mom died, he signed a big extension with Oregon and is still coaching the Ducks today...
