Them boys at FSU must be on some serious next level type of drugs to seriously think they are anywhere close to competing for a national title. Why? NBA hires coaces with no coaching experience and it works for them.
Ed Reeds resume is a 20 year career at the highest level where he was the coach on the field.

Except for the fact that the NBA has a roster size of 15 players, the GM puts the roster together, and the salary cap ties players to teams for significant periods. Quite different from being a college football coach who has to manage a roster of 85-plus, recruit, and try to keep guys motivated and productive for 5 years in the Portal Era.

Feel free to name any Power Five head coaches or coordinators who have been hired with no prior coaching experience. I'll wait.
