Never understood their fans and “experts” talking about them winning 8 games or being a dark horse. You couldn’t find 3 sure wins on that schedule of theirs. They’ve got the same roster from last year too, nothing has really changed on that front. I think they’re still in denial about how bad their situation is. Right now in the state, Mullen has UF chugging along, and Diaz made a ton of positive moves in the offseason (King, Roche, etc.; TBD if Diaz turns us around). Miami and UF are also miles ahead of FSU in recruiting.

It’s only one game, but Norvell’s track record at Memphis (a program he was given on autopilot by Fuente) doesn’t indicate that he can complete a top to bottom rebuild like they need. They ran the state for the most part under Jimbo, now they’re miles behind UF, and they’re behind us. Still can’t recognize from their end that it’s the situation they’re in. All the more reason why we need to come out and dominate two weeks from now and push them back even further.
