Another big-time match up this week at GT.

This could be the start of a huge winning streak. The kind that gets this program on the map.

I hope the hangover from that great rivalry win last Saturday is over as of yesterday.

This GT series has developed a nice rivalry in its own right. Practice should be intense this week, the guys should be pumped. I know I am.

hopefully we see completely different defense played this year vs the last one at Bobby Dodd, the Al Groh Retirement classic, GT did their part, now its time for Al Grohlden to do his and devoid this game of that 3-4 ****** edition..

lol - nice try. But, it is an important game, as in, if you lose it you are done in the Coastal. Of course that's probably true for every game from here on out.

Will be interesting to see if they can keep that fire going. They played with some passion defensively last week. Now do they sit back after one week and be proud of their minimal accomplishment and get gashed this weekend or do they take it a step further and dominate again?

This is the kind of game that AG has lost in the past, follow a good performance with a pitiful one......

Huge rivalry. Johnson has been there a little longer so they're ahead of us as a program right now. But we showed how gritty we are against mighty Duke. We've got a decent chance to knock GT off.

Minimal accomplishment? Are you nuts? Did you even watch the game last year?

That was awesome! Division wins don't grow on trees.

After all the passion and emotion dedicated to an age old rivalry game like last week, I just hope we don't have a major let down.

Where we are this is a big game. Going on the road against an unbeaten team that just had a bye after beating VT in their house. We'll have to play better than we did Saturday to win. Prime time. Sucks that we consider this a big game, but it is.

Remember in 1992 when we beat FSU at home then the following week went on the road and beat Penn State? The build up and intensity of these two games have the same feel to me. I'm just glad we're back to playing these big time games. I don't know if you guys have really thought about it but if we beat GT, we have a legit shot at winning the coastal. The coastal!! Life is good canes fans.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. There are still a couple behemoths looming in Pitt and UVA.

Three games in a row on prime time national TV is a big deal. 100's of programs would pay millions to get what we are getting in terms of big time exposure on a national level. To go 2-1 in this stretch would be an incredible achievement for this young team.

Looking forward, couple a GT win with a win against potential new rival in Cinci sets up a huge showdown in Blacksburg.

Guess when? PRIME TIME!!!

Ready to start popping champagne bottles this Saturday night. Let's go canes!

Perhaps the greatest achievement in the history of this program..

By far the best conference out there. (SEC west a distant 2nd)
