NIL Money For High Schoolers

If NIL just started then how do you know for a fact that kids will be robbed & killed because of NIL? What evidence are you basing that claim on?

If your issue wasn’t inner city kids being potentially robbed & killed, then why did you mention inner city kids in the first place? What point were you driving at? Because if inner city kids will get robbed & killed then that means kids from Upper-middle class can’t or won’t be robbed & killed?

I’m not looking for racism at all, I’m trying to understand your logic that kids shouldn’t be allowed to be compensated for NIL because teenagers are jealous & live in the inner city? I don’t see how any of that makes any sense...

You’re making assumption based arguments that don’t actually have any foundation in reality except for what you THINK might happen vs what actually has or hasn’t happened. That’s the equivalent of saying because some Banks have been robbed before that all Banks should be closed to public in order to prevent them from being robbed.

It’s a nonsensical fallacy argument that based on anecdotal perceptions.
Violence has become an overwhelming and mind-shattering way of life for many Chicago inner city youngsters, according to a study of more than 1,000 students that found 74 percent of them had witnessed a murder, shooting, stabbing or robbery.

The study, which involved students at two elementary schools and four high schools on the city`s South and Southwest Sides, also revealed that 46 percent of these youths were victims of a rape, shooting, stabbing, robbery or some other violent act.

Totally nonsensical and unfounded. Lol

I brought it up because thats who will be most taken advantage of and because I care.

So do all High School athletes live in Chicago?

And does that mean that High School athletes in the suburbs won’t be taken advantage of?

Man up and say it. Dont hide behind your doth protest to much crap.

Never read hamlet. Read a tale of two cities, diary of a slave girl, lord of the flies.
I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. No need to say it (another literary technique, not a reflection of cowardice - which in and of itself isn’t a “manly” or “womanly” character).

So, maybe read some Shakespeare before spouting off about the meaninglessness of the man’s prose.

Do you just ignore facts?

Chicago is the only city with violence lol.

yea ton of robberies in the suburbs.

The property-crime rate in urban areas was nearly twice as high in 2021 as in suburban areas (157.5 to 86.8 victimizations per 1,000 households) and nearly three times as high as in rural areas (157.5 to 57.7 victimizations per 1,000 households).

So only in cities with violence & crime is where kids shouldn’t be allowed to be compensated for NIL?

Is that what you’re saying?

When was this?

new study finds that today’s teens are taking longer to grow up than generations past, with researchers pointing to time spent online as the reason why.
you want to link your studies? lol.

this was when I was in HS so 02-06.

today, teens are finding more creative ways to earn income at an earlier age than generations past (studies say of course).

Nothing to add to….whatever this is….other than saying when you put “lol” in your posts you make the rest of your point moot

Does this apply to Wall Street or just athletes?

Anywhere man. The younger you are, the more likely you are to make dumbass decisions. Age isn't a cure all for anything, but you know what I'm talking about.
