NFL Combine Thread

Redwine with 4.45 40
10’10 broad jump
39 inch vertical
Legit athlete and tested as that before the season last year

Knew Redwine would test well.He also has put up good film....and has UM Pedigree and cb ability in the league. Dude is gone b4 the 4th round easy money.

Jaquan should have never ran. But that time is about right...remember he ran similarly his sr year coming out of high school. His film, interview, and um pedigree is what will help him get drafted...he likely is a mid rounder to around the 4th -5th round.

Just so yall understand, most agents advise you not to run at the combine unless ur either a freak or have something to prove. They say that because you run in front of virtually all those scouts and the ones that are serious about you at your pro day...

EXACTLY. I have already poste din here regardless if Jackson runs or not..he is GONE by the 3rd round

Completely agree, Jaquan shouldn’t have run if he wasn’t at least going to run in the 4.55-4.60 range which would have been a good time for him

He struggled getting off blocks in a couple of games(the one I saw Was vs Troy in 2017) but regardless he’s a physical freak and very explosive. He was recruited to LSU as a rb and then started his career there as a linebacker. For the Bucs I definitely would take him if we trade down a few spots

Yea thats why i compared him to my boy Jon Beason. He is a tad shorter and not as explosive tackling as Beas...but his athletic traits are very similar. He would fit the Bucs d.

Might let kwon Alexander walk and take a chance at drafting him, but I’m fine with however we pick. So many good options as long as it isn’t rashan Gary I’m good... Hope quinnen Williams slide to 5, or pick someone else and get willis top half of the second.

He's overrated. I been saying it since b4 we played them last year. And he was very avg in that game and got outplayed by the Jacob Phillips kid.

I mean this is a UM board...we kinda know what hof /all pro level LB play looks like. He just doesnt flash for me...Very athletic kid. Not instinctual, doesnt sift through traffic that well. He's like an early rd guy 1st or 2nd...but they have this guy like he is some HOF level player...He's Jon Beason without the instincts. In this draft i like Devin Bush better quite easily. And i didnt like Bush coming out of high school at all.

You don’t know WTF you’re talking about either. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Coach Macho read this **** above this post fam. Have a good laugh.

These dudes think their definition of getting off blocks means a player is overrated. I can tell they don’t know WTF they’re talking about.

There’s a reason before drafting Haloti Ngata...Ray Lewis was ADAMANT about getting him another Siragusa in front of him..almost to the point of whining about it...you know why...bc all LB’s struggle getting off the blocks of 6’4 - 6’6 300lb plus guards & tackles you geniuses. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

He has trouble disengaging and even being instinctual. He's easily fooled. For a 4.4 -4.5 guy he sure gets caught up in the wash alot. who you like better him or Bush?

Said it last week, Redwine had a really impressive senior year. Far better than Colbert and even Jenkins, both of which have started in the NFL.

He’s got all the tools to be a rock solid player in the show for years.

He has mor eupside than them as well as he has cb ability in some schemes

He ran a 4.68 and 4.75 in HS- so these 40's are consistent with ho fast he's always been.

I love Jaquan as a player - but unfortunately he looks like a great college player who just can't compete physically at the next level.

No shame in that - it happens all the time.

He definately can compete physically. The combine aspect has never been his thing not even in high school. His instincts is through the roof. If i was his agent i would have advised him not too run

Ok let's back track.

Your response to him running a 4.47 was Rumph did a good job developing him. I don't know how you come to that conclusion after a 40-yard dash.

But I'll ask you a question.

If he was developed so well, then why isn't he considered a first-round draft pick with his measurables?

I have the answer. Let me know if you need help.

All jokes aside the higher Mike Jack get picks helps Rumph's resume moving forward.

Banda looks to have got his resume game UP

Quan isn't a Yearby who can't make the next leap. He's going to be really good in the NFL. Should never have run the 40 as Geta says. At least should have waited to Miami Pro Day where he could specialize the next couple weeks on bringing his time down technically. The only thing that 40 time did was make him a mid-round steal for a smart GM. Kid is going to be playing and starting in the league for many years to come.

I thought Thriller's performance leveled out in 2018. But that's after a huge leap from 2017 to 2017. So even level is good. He is STILL a project and has room to get better. Athletically, he's among the best. So I can see a team taking a chance on him like they did on Artie. I hope he goes in the second.
