NFL Combine Thread

Michael Jackson in Round 2 is completely possible.
Tested like an elite cornerback and has played great the last 2 years overall. Outside of the 2 Toledo games in 2017 and 2018 and Pitt 2017 games he didn’t get beat often at all imo. He has things to work on but in the right system he should be successful in the league

David Montgomery and Devin Singletary are so overrated. I bet these mid 4.6 times don't even affect their RB rankings.

As predicted - 4.63 Montgomery and 4.66 Singletary go in the early 3rd. 4.67 Alexander Mattison goes late 3rd. Amazing

I like Singletary much more than Montgomery though

I personally had red flags with Montgomery & Singletary, even before the combine. I can see the interest, but more like using a 5th instead of a 3rd.

Your Bucs got a good UDFA RB with Bruce Anderson. I think he'll have a legit shot at playing time.

Montgomery is a physical back but his yards per carry was below average like cam akers bad but lower which is unfathomable. Singletary tested a lot worse than I Expected he would tbqh. He’s a good player though

Wasn’t exactly a hot take. Zion R1P1 in nba draft!

Was a hot one at the time.

Pre-Draft Mock Drafts
QB2 - Pick 7

QB3 - Pick 15

Daniel Jeremiah's #29 player

Big Mel's QB2, Pick 13

Not even in the conversation for R1P1 per McShay - not in his Top 20.

I'm here to collect, brother.

Am I wrong in saying all I heard in the last month is that he was going #1?

If I’m shaq or Pinckney they better be doing whatever they can to look at the top average combine times of all the linebackers and try to work towards that so they will be ready because as of now I dont Know if they are necessarily atheltic enough to be a top 2–3 round pick although their play indicates they are.

I see them as 4th round and back regardless of that.

Not in Pass coverage...

Agreed.

Shaq nor Pinckney have, or haven't shown yet, the instincts that these top backers have. I think Shaq has more pro potential than Pinck though. He fits the Perryman mold. I'm not sure which LB is similar to Pinck.

I give Akers much more of a pass than these 2 - but I see what you're saying.

Montgomery averaging 4.3 & 4.7 ypc in the Big 12 the last 2 years is just not good. With Singletary I think people are blinded by all the TD's. For me - both of their lack of speed is very easy to see when you see them play, and it's going to be a problem in the NFL, especially given their style of running.

I think the hype train left the station with a full head of steam a while back on these 2, and there's just no putting on the brakes once that happens sometimes.

I actually think Kerrith Whyte from FAU, who tested off the charts athletically, is more intriguing as a 7th rounder. He just lacks the draft capital of Montgomery and Singletary.
