8.5 sacks freshman 11.5 tfls
6.5 sacks sophomore 10.5 tfls
9.0 sacks junior(hurt most of the season by the way) 14.5 tfls

Yeah he got worse lol... He may not have elite traits to be a dominant pass rusher but he still gets the job done good enough and is on pace or exceeds many of the “top” edge players statistically

You posted stats I said rushing ability got worse especially based on his freshman year. He had limited action with those stats freshman yr too. He definitely had more bend when he first got here.

Meanwhile kiper have him as a late 1st/2nd round pick and mcshay have him as going to the patriots #32 overall. They have more credible than walterfootball
No they dont. Stats have shown walter football has been more accurate than both of them in recent years.

Walter football had kaaya #1overall...
And yes they do, mcshay just put the patriots selecting Willis recently and kiper recently has said he has him going late first/2nd round

Because It’s not factual. Joe Jackson was at most 245-250 his freshman year at Miami. He played last year at 270 plus. Yes he played a less amount in terms of snaps as a freshman but he wasn’t even completely healthy his junior season with that arm brace on all year and still had his most productive season in all statistical categories

They had kaaya high pre season just like everybody else did. The numbers show they have been more accurate with their picks. Willis isn't going in the 1st round. They are the only 2 guys that have projected that.

I’m just telling you were mcshay recently mocked him and kiper was thinking he we would be picked

Walter football has willis with a 2nd-3rd round grade and the #8 DT. So for whatever reason they think he could fall in the draft.

He's not going there Brock. I know you're a fan, but it's okay to be a critical thinker.
Where did I say he was going first round? I’m relaying what the talking heads of the draft at espn were saying not me. I think He goes in the 2nd round personally

99 moving well in bag drills. Has a chance to show he can play in a 2-pt stance and drop in coverage.

40 time is so overrated for DL. I'll take a 4.8 guy who can bend over 4.42 Montez Sweat any day.
Looks like clelin Ferrell didn’t run the 40 either, he and joe Jackson are pretty comparable in terms of size and plays styles imo

We get 10 yard splits from the runs as well tho,...and we get to athletically compare them to guys at other positions.

It's not as simple as "faster run time ='s better player." Not many are concerned with that.

He definitely looks more fluid than most of the edge rushers In the drills

He's a muscled-up tightly wound guy. He doesn't bend and turn the corner easily but we know he can redirect and pursue the ball laterally. He moves well in the horizontal plane so I think he can execute basic coverages like curl-flat.

I like him better than Ferrell tbh. Ferrell is a more polished pass rusher now but I don't see the upside or positional value.

Nothing to laugh about. What would you rather the Dolphins do, draft the third or fourth QB off the board and invest in a guy who likely won't amount to a stud QB?

You know, like they did with Ryan Tannehill. I'm tired of the mediocrity, we've been a middling team for 20+ years. Blow the whole thing up and build from scratch. Drew Lock, Daniel Jones, and Will Grier are very likely not saviors.
Tua isn’t a franchise QB

Sorry man, this reads like a true homer for me. Q Williams was an absolute animal on an otherwise overrated Bama defense this year. He absolutely wrecked havoc. Also, Gary probably goes ahead of Willis because he is such an a freak. Willis is a beast but this is a tough year along the DL and DT. I think Willis has an impactful career wherever he goes, cause like I said beast, but most likely not 1st round which is now even more confirmed with him not participating in drills at the combine.

Joe Jackson and MJ are nowhere near to what Willis is after that. JJ should land in the 3rd or 4th though, MJ after that. MJ went from being an afterthought to a solid contributor for us but he has many many deficiencies.

Lol. Far from a homer. We will see how many of our guys are still hanging around in 4-5 years compared to these other guys.
