Not even close to the same circumstances.... He already had a head coaching job lined up and he dismissed him to go get to work/not be a distraction, not publicly called him out for underperforming.

Everybody knows Nick Saban is all about accountability and will move on from coaches quickly.

But he almost never publicly calls out his coaches. Even when asked directly about them, he almost always shifts the blame back to himself.

You realize you’re assuming cause you haven’t seen “Josh Gattis fired” on Twitter doesn’t mean he’s still employed right? In fact, he could very well be gone and it not be announced on purpose so that Mario doesn’t face a “countdown clock” before signing day to hire his replacement

Can you find me an example of a time when Saban publicly called out his offensive coordinator?
I don’t think saban would have said anything if his offense had less than 100 total yards offense
He seems the type that would have fired his oc on the spot

he chewed out a coahc right on the sidelines. we had ponce looking lonely on the bench and got nothing from ours and just more these coaches were successful elsewhere.
