Doesn't seem to help Nike sell product. I'm just the messenger.

Those Nike's/Jordans are clean. Adidas in general has some awesome colorways which tend to be clean. Those Adidas kicks are too flashy for me but also not sure why anyone would buy a pair of EVO SL as a comfort shoe. That's a high performance runner that should be used for training/racing only. Adidas could just go with all white and green 3 stripes and keep it clean. Dropset Pro would be much better.

I don't ever pay $160 for runners. That's just dumb. It's a product with a 3-6 month life. I buy whatever brand I can find on sale and have fun experimenting.

What am I arguing here?

You're the one who drops bombs, runs away, and then acts like you didn't say what you just said. You claim that you're unbiased and you don't have an axe to grind, but your posts indicate otherwise. If you just said some pro-adidas stuff, that would be one thing. But EVERY ******* TIME you've gotta unload your bowels on Nike, and it's just getting weird.

Yeah, the first thing that I noticed about the first adidas EVOs from last year are that they are GREAT at the sole and incredibly weak in the uppers. As in weak material. They are great walking shoes, but I'm not so sure about running in them, as I tend to be an ankle-turner. Maybe the high stack will help with that, but I'm concerned with the thinness and weakness of the uppers.

Was definitely thinking of getting those Dropsets for comparative purposes.

Honestly, get rid of the orange and make it a white and green pair, and I love them even more. The stripes being orange is a lot to digest. Then again, I've always been more partial to the green in our color scheme, it's tough to rock that much orange without it looking some kind of safety manager uniform.

I almost appreciate his trolling. We've both discussed how we wear both and want the best deal for the school, BUT... anyone that walks into a Jordan Brand stadium store vs. Miami's Adidas and thinks our gear is better is blind or lying. If we are going to be forced into this, I want the school to get more out of it and not less... We shall see.

Congrats on finding the same thing I just said. Adidas helped. I don't see anything there saying Adidas is THE reason. Honestly you are making a strawman argument. I think you'd prefer if Adidas wasn't helping so you can trash the brand.

The uniform is an even bigger mismatch 🤣 it truly is hilarious how far away adidas is in the uniform game compared to Nike/jordan

I just think it's hilarious watching so many people worship a brand like it's the most important thing in their life. Meanwhile that same brand is negative 7 going on 8 quarters and go to any shoe store and Nike and Jordan's are on clearance everywhere. The outlets are giving them away. I watched a video a few weeks ago that I don't care to find of a Nike shoe guy going to the mall and wondering why all Nike's were on sale and seemed dead. He goes to ask the sales reps in several stores what's selling and they all say New Balance, Hoka, etc. He's like wow New Balance is the move. But yeah we have to sign with Nike because it was cool 40 years ago when they had Jordan. Let's sign with Sears cause that was the sh*t 70 years ago. Let's call KMart too.

Better than electrical tape design.

Point is it took 3 seconds to make a better looking shoe even if not to your own liking. A multi million dollar marketing team with months to come up with a design should have done a whole lot better than what they did.
