New Depth Chart

Always around the ball< intercepting the ball, batting it down, jarring it loose

Rewatch the games, he's over Carter and Crawford for a reason.

No need. i know what he can do.

As i stated above. He benefits form being a buttkiss. Crawford is a corner so he isnt over him. And he is only over carter because he doesnt freelance. not because he is better than them.

He plays the role of what the coaches want the players to do.

But real coaches make a scheme around the players and their talents. Not bench them because they can't play in the system.

again, carter would do better playing Ss in more of a kam chanc type roll. Having him 30 yards off the l.o.s. getting cooked by great athletes in the open field. its just hard to do for anyone.

Especially a guy 6'2 2oo plus pounds.

His athletic skill set isnt built for that.

doesn't mean he's a bad football player. Just means coach needs to find a way to get him on the field in a way he can succeed. rather than shutting him out because he cant do what you want him to do.

"Crawford is a corner so he isnt over him." Wow, Canesum5 is such a knowledgeable 'Canes fan that he doesn't know the difference between Antonio Crawford and Dallas Crawford. Yet he expects anyone to take his seriously when he's discussing (and typically trashing) the coaches and program.

yes, i slipped up. my bad. i can admit that.

Never trashed the program once. never. never rooted for us to lose or any of that crap. Just voiced my displeasure about a suck *** coaching staff.

Don't see the problem there. but whenever i think crawford i always think antonio for defense.

Not yet used to dallas on D.

But if this is what you post for then by all means you win sir.

What was the prize for winning?

Fentress snaps are fine as long as he is producing. What the **** is the argument here. The secondary has been playing well the last four games regardless of how they are mixing up the personnel. **** some of ya'll complain and argue just for the sake of arguing. All of these kids are growing up, learning their role better and playing faster and better. Especially in tackling the last two games. Its going to take every last one of the safeties out there to have a great game to shut down Winston. It doesn't matter how many snaps such and such has. It only matters that they produce when their name is called.
i'd say whatever we've been doing lately has been working alright.

here are the amount of snaps each player has taken, broken out by Daniel Gould

against UNC:
Bush: 37
Fentress: 35
Carter: 32
Crawford: 20

against va-tech:
Bush: 38
Fentress: 33
Crawford: 24
Carter: 21

against cinci:
Fentress: 51
Bush: 49
Carter: 42
Crawford: 40

About 15 too many snaps for Fentress in the last two games IMO. Give them to Carter, and leave Bush in almost all game.

Why is everyone crying about our OL? Flowers is going to play, and Darling is a much better prospect than Gadbois.

OL has been a strength lately. What changed this week other than getting Flowers back?

Agreed. Whatever mix we've been putting out there lately has been meshing well. Getting Flowers back is obviously huge. Depth is a concern but it has been all year. Guys just keep stepping up.

Exactly. The guys we have out there at the start of the game aren't an issue. The only thing to worry about regarding the o-line would be a continuation of the injury bug.

Artie / Howard / Gunter / Elder need to contain FSWho's WRs, and I think they will. I'm really afraid / looking forward to how the OLBs match up with the Golden Cub and the RBs.

Surprised to see Artie starting at one of the corner spots. As others have mentioned, I can't believe Jamal can't crack the line-up over Fentress. That is an indictment on Carter more so than an endorsement of Fentress.

No. It's an indictment of the corches who can't get anything out of talent like Carter.

yet they get something out of burns, bush, grace, perryman, kirby, gunter, mccord

EXACTLY
we automatically assume that Carter is doing everything right and the coaches just wont play him...thats crap. This team is flooded with true freakin freshmen playing significant minutes all over the place.
I hope these mopes who try to use examples like Carter to make their anti-Golden case realize just how much damage that does to their credibility on here.
THINK a little before u type.

Why in the world is Heaps over Williams at this point? I hope this is a non-issue, but if Kaaya turns an ankle or something and needs to come out for an extended period in the game we are screwed with Heaps.
