Worried about a jump to the NFL. In James mind, he was going to the Browns. Why did he extend him? Where was he going?

That's $20M of salary.
Lol, well done mateWorried about a jump to the NFL. In James mind, he was going to the Browns.
He'll probably leave before Richt's contract expires. It will be somebody else's problem. The way it always is with these fly-by-night types. ***** up a place, end up on probation, and you're long gone before that happens.unless Flake gets canned too it won't make a bit of difference because he will just go and hire another clown to lead this program. The guy has no clue what he's doing so firing one without the other will just result in another buyout 2-3 years down the road.
I remember hearing from a guy who really WAS an insider talking to Paul Dee about buying put Coker. Paul said he was not yet ready to deal with the Coker buyout be sure he had to deal with a more pressing situation. I think that was probably Perry Clark. Once he got that buyout done he'd start to deal with CokerIt may not be. Both sides were "happy" with each other at the time. Perry Clark and Golden burned UM. There is a high relative likelihood that the buyout is 1-2 years of salary.
Another 7-6 season and Richt is not emerging on the sidelines during 2020.
That was my question as well. Richt wasn't being poached, so why extend him?Why did he extend him? Where was he going?
He really thought Richt--who was ready to quit coaching but for the UM offer--would take an NFL job?Worried about a jump to the NFL. In James mind, he was going to the Browns.

I was a bit surprised. I had not thought that they were already ready to pull he plug on Coker.
I guess the earlier you fire the more you have to pay. I don't see that a lot of our recent coaches were such prizes that we had to agree to such buyouts.
Hence, why Blake James should be fired for such incompetence. A Head Coach, who hasn’t won a National nor ACC title should not have the University of Miami by the balls. ESPECIALLY after the Golden **** show.

Richt thinks he can win, he isn’t settling.
Because Flake got the squirts after Mork reeled off those 10 wins thinkin he was gonna bounce. When in reality you knew those 10 wins were fools gold, 1 well played game, ND, and the rest were teams we shoulda smoked on a bad day. Flake clearly premature ejaculated and now realizes it, he'll bounce himself just sit back and watchThat was my question as well. Richt wasn't being poached, so why extend him?
Which will cause Flake to bounce and leave us knee deep in his ****, it ain't fair, ***** should be held accountable for his stupidity and not allowed to just walkFinancially the U has done well the last couple of years, but there is no way they would be in a position to pay a 9 figure buyout and Richt would be crazy to leave that on the table and just walk away. We are too financially entangled currently to justify anything like that.
