what we lost in terms of pure impact with Bain and Mesidor, Miami might make up for with sheer volume/depth upfront
I maybe over thinking it but we do have the personnel to run a 3-4 like front with Davis/Blount Moten and Scott with Lightfoot as a JACK if we wanted to?
From a pure personnel standpoint, yes probably. But Hetherman is a 1gap penetrating up field attack guy and 3-4 is 2 gapping primarily so we won’t see any of that. We have big athletic mfs that we can do a bunch of sh*t with though, and I trust him to do just that.

Can’t argue with you there based on what Dorito didTalking about running a 3-4 should be an automatic ban.
******* ridiculous. Move to Tallahassee.
put some respect on dlew name ... he's an unsung heroD linemen want to be coached by Jason Taylor as well. They know what's up.
he went into nebraska at 240. Kid is on the right track. Hes an inside -out guy. What you saw Blount doing. He maybe better at than Blount though. If he's actually 6'5, I assume he could afford to bulk up if needed.
Yup this is what Logan Nagle is in this class as well that we signed.I like the flexibility these kind of guys add to alignments. He's a perfect guy to put at the 5 tech or 4i that allows you to line up someone like Lightfoot at that super wide 9 we've been using.
as of of now we have 5 LEGIT cbs (oj, brown, lucas, oconnor, slime) and four legit safeties in poyser, fitzergald, thornton (nickel), and pruitt ... that's just based on the national championship caliber team we just fielded ... haven't included one frosh or improved guy ... we straightThe DB depth is concerning. I hope we get moving on that soon.
classic kanye ... not the nutball we see today
Totally agree, that’s the scary part. I don’t think people realize just how talented he is. Him and Blount will be chess pieces that Hetherman can use all over the line.he went into nebraska at 240. Some nice additions, plus a solid freshman class.Curious if they see him more as a DT or Edge? Maybe mix of both? Line looking strong. Any ideas what the 2 deep may look like
Initially, my reply was solely to say that with the DE rotation you listed, there really is no difference between the first two on either side (imo Lightfoot will be one of the stars on defense next year) and then I noticed Lowe is all the way 5th on one of the depth charts!!...and you can't even really argue about it lol (Scroggins was playing in the playoffs). With this addition, Miami now has the deepest (pause) and most versatile defensive line in the nation. Teams will not be able to handle the waves of beast coming at them all game. It’s almost blasphemy to say this but, we just might be looking at the deepest defensive line since the 2001 team.

This is on point by why is Adarius Hayes in there? Also I would personally switch Blount and Lightfoot. Nice work thoughDefense has alot of Juniors View attachment 354904
