Feels like we’ll have better depth at the DT spot for 2026 than we did last season.
WeaponCurious if they see him more as a DT or Edge? Maybe mix of both? Line looking strong. Any ideas what the 2 deep may look like
don't know nebraska's defensive system, but i'd like to think we prefer to play behind the los instead of holding the line ... i see the tools
Blount last season. Inside out. He's not a talented natural pass rusher but big with a great motor and effort. Heatherman like's these hybrid guys.Trust Hetherman/Lewis/Taylor.
I imagine he will primarily play inside but line up all over the front at some point. The little bit I’ve seen from him, his effort and play speed stands out, and that was as a starter in the B1G. Him coming in with fresh legs as a backup will be an issue for opposing ACC OL with more talent beside him.
I maybe over thinking it but we do have the personnel to run a 3-4 like front with Davis/Blount Moten and Scott with Lightfoot as a JACK if we wanted to?Trust Hetherman/Lewis/Taylor.
