NCAA Selections Noon ESPN2

Maybe the ACC tournament didn’t matter as much as someone claimed.
Looks like the committee didn't consider much for conference tournaments in the top 8 selections with the exception of ECU which I predicted would be the #8 seed as their RPI climbed in their conference tournament.

The tournaments definitely helped teams that were not going to host such as Texas, Florida and UNC.

Given our 4-6 finish, the committee could have moved us down, but thankfully didn't.

We all have high expectations and strong opinions, but lets be objective with our praise too, and congratulate Gino. He aggressively pushed out some older guys (Toral, etc) and turned a lot of the roster over, got them to gel in time to make a real run, and Miami is hosting a regional for the first time since 2016. After a long regular season and conference tournament, we are also the #6 National Seed in all the land. All with uber recruit and Friday starter Rosario not coming through.

Rome wasn't re-built in a day. Congrats to the staff and team. That's a big jump from where we've been. Upward from here hopefully.
