All the negativity is really about what this class could have been rather than what it ended up being.

It's a good but not elite class. Still probably the best and deepest class we have had in years. The 2012 class had elite prospects at the top but the depth of the class turned out to be poor and there was a lot of attrition.

This really sums it it. Not whining at all. The class is good but not elite. But what could have been?? We simply lost out on TOO MANY local studs. We filled holes but really could use some more local game changers.

Now if we had a staff that inspires confidence, develops talent and takes kids to the next level, this class would be fine. Our coaching staff has NOT done this...

From everything I've read (all along) it was most definitely an issue. LSU only requires 1 year of a foreign language... UM (and most others) require two. Our admissions department can wave it (which is what other schools do) if they choose to..
