Hightower looked **** good.....did Pope play? I don't recall seeing him.
Outcoached by Ed Orgeron. Let that sink in.
100%.
We need a Josh Heupel/Mike Norvell/Chad Morris type OC that can transform this Offense.
(And yes I'm fully aware those guys are HC's now, but they were all OC's who built Offenses & cut their teeth up in the booth as X's & O's technicians).
I like Richt as a HC & as a person overall, but his playcalling days are behind him.
Sam Hartman at Wake Forest just went 31/51 387yds & 2TD's in his first ever, JT Daniels was 22/35 286yds & 1TD, Zack Annestad a walk-on at Minnesota went 16-33 220yds & 2TD's, **** even DTR came in during the 2nd half for UCLA after Speight got hurt & went 15-25 for 117yds.
All True Freshman who somehow figured out their playbook lol.
Richt is Mack Brown, A nice guy thats going to win you 9 or more games every year but won't win you a title unless he has a all time great player combined with all the stars aligned

All I know is Robert knowles should never see the field again for Miami
When I saw that touchdown run and that safety getting washed out I knew exactly who it wasOf course, we all already knew this before last night, but it was cool being proven right again.
Makes me very concerned about our backups is what it tells me.....
Not a lot to disagree with in your assessment.I understand a lot of you will not like it, I'm fine with that, feel free to disagree.
No, I don't think the sky is falling, but got damnit man I'm tired of this sh*t smh.
Man that guy been in the system what a month? And he still making checks at the LOS, while Rosier stares at the corner about to blitz and does jack ****
The reason why I think we're better off as a Spread Option team is because it puts less stress on the OL to hold blocks for long pass plays, plus the uptempo pace opens up running lanes because Defenses have to sell out to Defend the passing attack over the middle. Not a lot to disagree with in your assessment.
I will say that I’m not an Xs and Os guy, so I’ll defer, but I don’t believe a coach, Searles, who can’t coach an o-line to block effectively in our current scheme would be any better coaching a line for spread O.
LSU made us look completely incompetent with the amount of times they had guys getting into our backfield untouched. I’m totally fine if a guy is just outclassed and gets beat. I am not fine with the amount of times I saw people blocking the wrong guy or nobody at all.
On defense, I’m right there with you. I really like Diaz’s philosophy. Derrick Smith did work at Striker last night. We only really looked bad when we had people on the field who have no business on the field. That has to be addressed.
Special teams is terrible all the way around. Love Hartley, but ****.
