My Post game recap

If he is ever going to pull the trigger with the season in front of us, then this week is the perfect time.
It is. Let me ask you, who would benefit from playing time against the next few teams? Rosier, who **** sure isn't getting better, or any of the young guys who could really use the experience, and would no doubt improve from it? It's a flipping no brainer.

Other than a couple of bonehead penalties, defense was effective enough. You have to get Dean off the field. Killed us. He got pulled. Bandy getting tossed hurt us. Blades and Ivey played well enough and got valuable reps.

That long touchdown run was a blown on the linebacker who inexplicably went outside and completely vacated his gap responsibility. Well blocked if he stays it is probably a 5 yard pick up. That isn't on Diaz. They picked up 108 yards on 39 carries. Miami gave up 298 yards. They were 3 of 16 on 3rd downs. Burrows was 11-24 for 140 yards. Hardly effective.
You're right. I agree with you overall, I said over & over again all offseason Dean was gonna get beat, we need to play the young guys.

And guess who was the Deep single high cleanup Safety on the long TD run who took a bad angle & over pursued?? That's right, the crafty slow footed non athletic Upperclassmen who has no business being at Miami. Bobby Knowles smh.

Absolute worst coaching decision of the night. Bring Jaquan up to the line and leave Knowles as the lone safety. What did they think was gonna happen?

You have 3 manageable games before you hit conference play and real confidence builders. You have to pull the trigger. It is clear that Rosier will always struggle against good defenses. You rarely seem him audible out of a play which is also frustrating.

not a personal attack on you but it's absolutely on diaz. no need to call that defense at that time, it was like 2 and 15. just get to 3rd and long but his ego *** had to make a big splash play. diaz was the lb coach and then richt gave him the 11th coaching spot for a lb coach. the lb position was a huge fail tonight. more by design than talent. on run plays if the dline didn't get to the rb in the backfield it went for 5+ yards minimum. i put that on mannys defensive philosophy. the lb's made no plays tonight. none.

outside of joe jackson the dline played well enough to win. poor lb play and design hurt the defense.

stats mean nothing in this game, lsu shut it down in the second quarter ffs. i'd like to put manny on a no blitz game plan the next few games to help him get his head right.

after watching bits of the unc game saturday i'd say we have 4 manageable games to get right.

I wasn't crazy about blitzing on 2 and 15, but the bigger issue was the personnel on the field which bit us in the ***.

Which one would expect from a guy that knows the O so well. Man, they are shoveling some serious ****, and I'm not buying anything they say anymore. Hey Coach Richt, maybe Rosier looks good in practice because your DC is more incompetent than your starting QB.

Put any of the young QBs out there, why die on the hill of Rosier

Can't believe they put Knowles back out there he can't play

Feagles, Knowles & Rosier are not Miami caliber not even Miami (OH) caliber
Stubborn. Rosier is the perfect crutch to keep any heat off you because you can just say he's the best we got right now & if he sucks he can just blame it on the previous coaching staff because he didn't recruit Rosier.

People on this board fought tooth & nail with me in the Spring, I said back then Richt will stick with Rosier no matter what, even if we get blown out by LSU. People swore up & down it as all the young QB's to take the QB1 spot from Rosier but there was literally nothing they could do, even if they were perfect in practice Rosier was still going to be the guy.

Now, Perry gets suspended & Weldon/Jarren haven't had any 1st team reps, so they're behind the 8ball in a rigid slow developing Offense that doesn't make it any easier on them. Idgaf how "complicated" Richt's offense supposedly is, help the got **** QB's out by simplifying the reads & getting the ball out of their hands quicker.

Lane Kiffen could be calling our plays and Malik will still find a way to overthrow these receivers

If Lane Kiffin had malik to 2 years he figure out how to coach him instead of calling plays and routes you know he has difficulty throwing.. Didnt Kiffin have a freshman QB at Bama in Hurts and figured how to use him successfully??

I will go finally admit I hate our ******* offense. Only motion we had in the first 3/4 of the game was the rm going from behind the qb to the side of him. Pitiful. Then when we do run some type of motion it leads to a garbage time td..... Our offense is garbage. 2006 trash!!!!

We don’t have Alabama’s offensive line and we’re not a team predicated on using a heavy run scheme, we don’t have the benefit of having an offensive run game that wears and tears the opposing team, turning Jalen hurts into a competent player is not difficult, when those factors come into play, I am in no way excusing Mark Richt, his play calling is too predictable at times, however, when will you Malik Rosier apologists realize that we’re never going to win a national title with a baseball player under center...

Very good points. Especially with regsrds to BAMAs OL. I was just comparing the two to say Kiffin has worked with an inaccurate Freshman QB and adjusted his philosophy to the strengths of his player.

I understand a lot of you will not like it, I'm fine with that, feel free to disagree.

No, I don't think the sky is falling, but got damnit man I'm tired of this sh*t smh.
EL, the truth hurts sometimes but you were on point with your post-game remarks. I took a lot of heat from the offseason perps about #12, Searles, and Manny. I was wrong about giving CMR another year with play calling, his offense is high school level at best. You said it all, i have nothing to add that hasn't already been said. i think Willis played his *** off as well and Mike Jack locked down his side of the field but that rush defense was frustrating.

Richt's just like Kaaya, eeeeeeeverything has to be perfect for em' to succeed.

If the defense doesn't line up exactly the way He saw it on film, He either takes too long to adjust, or He can't adjust.

Yeah I forget to mention Searels but he's been at the top of my sh*t list for awhile now.

When you don't have a strong OL that can sustain consistent run blocking, you can scheme around it with an uptempo offense that attacks Defenses with pace & space. You give the QB easier reads & quicker decisions to make, it seems like every pass Rosier had to throw was a long drown out play that took too much time to develop.

The Deep passing Offense only works when you have an accurate QB, otherwise Defenses will just bring heavy pressure & force your QB to throw it too early.
