I think offensively Richt opens the book. I see the screens to Herndon coming back in a big way, and the bubble screens too. This will help slow down the FSU defense. I also see some draw plays and every screens. I don’t think for a second the game plan to beat Duke will be the one we use this week. I felt like once we hit some vertical stuff they tried to stay with those type of plays but then had to adjust to all the blitzing. I hope that we actually try to go faster than usual and put the pressure on them.
Defensively I think we do play it similar. Gotta stop the run first. Some of those openings looked like it was a dL taking the wrong shoulder of the lineman on his rush so when the lb filled his hole the one the dL left was the open one. I think we will come in ready to stop the run first and force this qb to beat us through the air. Which joe Jackson CT9 and Toolbox will make it tough.
