Most memorable UM play of last 20 years!

Ed Reed against BC is tops in my book, but I think in recent times The Trajan Bandy pick six against the Irish that sealed up that game down here was the best play of the Richt Era.

Daryl Jones’ 86-yard TD punt return against BC in 2000. The score itself meant nothing except extending a 45-6 lead to 52-6. I loved this play because Butch pulled Santana from the game. Moss already housed one punt return. All Jones did was say ‘my turn’ and housed another.

Butch looked across the field at the BC coach and gestured, ‘sorry, I tried.’

Punt return at 12:02 mark...

Willis Mcgahee screen pass against FSU or Kellen Winslow catch on 4th and forever against WV on Thursday night. You decide.

I have posted about this probably like 3 times before but that was the loudest I ever I witnessed at the OB and I went to basically all the games there. It was a national TV game...at Night...in the famed OB vs the gator.
Devin Hester makes his statement....get ready because that is the start of the greatest returner ever.
Epic...
If you think that was loud...The Carlos Jones Pick6 in 94 was twice that...and I'm 100% serious...I was at both games...Once with Wifey in 94...and with GF in 03...Wifey was scared Sh*tless in 94....

We discused before....I was there and felt Hester was louder...but could be due to where we were located.

I went berserk....was standing behind bench 100ft away...

Been going to UM and Fin games since 75...Ive never heard a Noise from the OB like I heard on the Pick6...The crowd was already Nuts from Lang and Sapp sacking Kanell the play before...When Jones intercepted it, the place erupted...But...The second he crossed the Goal line...It felt like a Sonic Boom....I never felt the OB shake like that....

Ed reed bc
Hester return bc he called it and people were watching and he delivered
ST vs FSU is the best single player performance against ant team

Honorable mention. The edge vs UCLA.

IMO... There are so many but below are the ones that for some reason just stick out to me (I didn't even include Reed's TD against BC...too easy)

3) 2012 Miami vs Ga tech
Mike James TD in overtime
Ga tech fans giving me **** as I started the "It's great to be a Miami Hurricane!" as we walked out!
2) 2004 Peach Bowl against Gayturds
Blocked fg that Hester returned for a TD!
1) Sean Taylor against FSU in 2003
His 2nd pick returned for a TD on a rain soaked field! Just an overall amazing game from ST!
Sean Taylor was a monsta in that FSU game!!

The one that sticks out to me was the UCLA game in 98. The Edge single handedly crashed the Bruins NC hopes that year! 299 yrs in 39 carries from Edgerrin James, Miami 49, #3 UCLA 45.

I was not at either game, but from video the only play matching the intensity was Barrow’s hit on Vanover in 1993. I swear the TV cameras were shaking.

I was at 91 and 92 UM FSU...But good grief...That Pick6 was like a Nuclear Bomb went off...Listen to the Boom as Jones crossed the Goal line....Lol...But in all Honesty....the 89 ND game had kinda the same noise, except the entire game...you literally couldn't hear yourself think...Lol

When I watch the CanesFreak2001 highlight video of the ‘94 FSU game I am reminded how hard both defenses hit.

Some hits were painful to watch.

The bullshyt flag call in the '02 Fiesta Bowl that robbed us of a NC.

It's not pleasant. But it's the most memorable. Fvck Terry Porter.

Negatively memorable: I was thinking Maurice Clarett stripping Sean Taylor of the ball following a pick in the EZ in that game.
Positively memorable: Shockey TD 2002 FSU

Shocked it hasn't been mentioned yet, but in person Devin Hester returning the opening kickoff for a TD against the Turds was an unbelievable moment for me.

After an entire day of driking, **** talking and fights in the parking lot that stadium was ready to blow. And it did when the whole stadium saw Devin break into the clear and knew he was gonna house it.

it was loud for devin after that punt return, but unless you were in the OB for Notre Dame in 1989, you have NO IDEA what a loud stadium actually is!

There are way too many but here are a few (in no particular order):

Kenny Phillips INT against Clemson in death valley in 3OT to seal the win.
Bandy Pick 6 vs ND
2017&2018 comebacks against FSU
Andre Johnson 7 rec, 199 yards in the Rose Bowl blowout of Nebraska.
The Return vs Duke in 2015
